So lately, I've been listening to a lot of British bands (The Stone Roses, The Beatles, Babyshambles, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Jamie T, Oasis, Blur ... list goes on) and I was thinking ...
What songs to you are the most British? (Lyrics wise)
For me, I'd have to say: Arctic Monkeys - From The Ritz To The Rubble.
That song is just pure Britannia.

I love most of Queen's stuff, though none of the lyrics have stuck me as overly British, but we all know it as British (with the awesome Asian frontman - yep, Freddie was raised in India).

Any of Reverend and the Makers' album, 'The State Of Things'. I'm actually going to see them at my university in a couple of weeks time :D
Anyway, that album deals mainly with life in Britain, more specifically Sheffield, where the lead guy Jon Mclure hails from.
