Tattoos are my #1 turnoff. I like my women with pristinely smooth, beautiful skin unsullied by artwork. Plus, I tend to find tattoos to be a sign of low social status and poor breeding.

I think your opinion is more a nurture than a nature thing. Does your wife wear make-up? Does she wear earrings? A wedding ring probably? A tattoo falls in exactly the same category, but you need to have a strong will to put something like that permanently.

Unless you're drunk when putting one, or a minor of course, then I would have to agree with you.

I think tattoos are pretty silly.

I love tattoos, and for anyone who says people that have them have a low social status? That is a lie good sir, I'm rich as anything and have more than my fair dose of friends. My mother is a international award winning tattooist, and just because we might dye our hair different colours and have ink on our bodies doesn't mean we're any different from anyone else. I think the Escapist needs to get rid of it's stereotypical views, either that or don't bother insulting people. If you've nothing good to say, don't say it at all, because at the end of the day it's just as bad as racism.

Chicks with tattoos are hot. Unless they're stupid tattoos... tribal tramp stamps or kanji symbols or something lame like those.

Depends where and what it is. Small tatoos aren't really much of an issue, but please keep your tatty bojangles clean. If I could feasibly be placing my lips on it during an intimate moment, I don't want a tatoo there: Necks, face, aforementioned jubblies, rear and inner things should all be kept as clean as possible.

I prefer clear skin anyway, I don't mind smaller tattoos but the HUGE ones like:

this are a definite no-no.

Well, that's my opinion on the matter anyway.

I will laugh so hard when this guy is fat and old and his whole body tatoo stretches with his fatness into a unreadable splat all over him.

Especially when they put them on their lower back. I hate it when they do that.

I can't understand big fuck-off tattoos that cover an entire body part,as you get older, you just end up with a big smudge, however if theyre decently sized or small, I can understand them as like a memorial to something/someone.

It just depends on how big the tatoo is and where on the body. Like if its a giant one all across the back im instantly turned off along with tatoos in other areas. If its smallish and not a tramp stamp kinda thing then im fine with it.

I don't like tattoos in general on guys or girls. But I much prefer them to those idiotic tribal hoop rings that people disfigure their ears with. Your tattoo looks not bad.

Well done tattoo's - even entire sleeves - are sexy as hell, I think it's a woman's removal from the "norms" that society places on them, don't take that too much into consideration seeing as I also HATE rail skinny females (general rule of thumb, but exceptions are made), and love women w/o make-up.

I personally think media has portrayed "china dolls" for women, and it needs to stop, when a 5'8" girl is complaining because she weighs 145 pounds, I see a major problem, not everyone can weigh less than 100 lbs, and no one should be as skinny as the models are these days, it's unhealthy, I LOVE healthy.

/Rant

End of story, I like females that are of a healthy weight/size, and tattoo's are fucking sexy if done right.

As long as they don't take up the entirety of the person's back, I think tattoos can look really good. Too many tattoos, in my opinion, look just as bad on guys as they do girls.
But its their body, and its their choice, so I'm not that fussed...

Women with tattoos can be very hot. Good tattoos only improve upon an all ready attractive woman. Tattoos are awesome. BTW, that first pic with the feather tattoo is very cute and cool. I like it.

I was referring to exactly those actually...

My God...

See, when it's a nice tat and done well, it's really hot.

See? That is the hotness. It is more hot because of the ink.

This is the hotness too:

and this:

Sorry for the double post. But let me weigh in again

I think I'm going to get a full back tattoo, I don't know what it will be yet, but here are some tattoos that I like but will probably not be getting

Oh god please do not do that. The only alright one in my opinion is number 3.

I think the problem with tattoos is that girls like different designs to boys. So girls tend to like girls tattoos and boys tend to like boys tattoos. YOu wanna know how to overlap? Look at someone like this guy:

Sorry I can't give any pictures of his chest tattoos because tinypic keeps deleting them XD They obviously think he's a girl. Anyway, he knows what suits his body and his tattoos appeal to both genders. Plus he's Japanese, so the kanji isn't a cliche XD

You do realise that tattoos cost quite a bit, right?

Looks nice, and at least you didn't get a tattoo cliche like a kanji for love or a tribal band or something like that.

Is your avatar a picture of you? If so, you look nothing like your avatar (That's a compliment in case you don't catch my meaning).

Lol thanks? XD You mean one of them looks better or something? And yeah it's me in my avatar

urgh76:
a feather? that's it? well, i think tattos on women are disgusting along with on men as long as they aren't excessive. yours turned out pretty :3

Lol thanks!

zombflux:

So many girls I know are getting feathers. I don't get the appeal.

Really? I've never met anyone with a feather. I thought it was all just flowers and butterflies. I asked my artist if she does lots of feathers and she said no but maybe that's just her

I never see feathers and I know LOTS of women with tattoos from the San Fransisco Goth/Industrial/Club scene. So I say feathers are pretty original.

No, no, and "we don't believe in propping up the jewelry industry, so no."

And there's a big difference between a wedding ring (a sign of a partnership and usually a sign of socio-economic stability) and a tattoo (which to keep the flames down I'll leave alone.)

Well I can congratulate you on being consistent, that in itself means a lot.
