I never quite got the appeal of permanently scarring yourself with something that only yourself and a small circle of friends could appreciate. And this pretty much goes for either gender for me. I've just never gotten the attraction.

Stuff thats really big/ obvious just looks cheap. Go for somethin a bit more subtle. I know people who have tattoos on their inner wrists or ankles, and they look pretty cool without looking stupid, and you can still show them off if you want to :)

Depends on the tattoo, the position and the girl. They can make a hot girl even hotter or they can make her unattractive.

Tiny, simple and cute tattoos on girls are fine; I prefer unmarked skin, but that is hard to find nowadays. Especially in porn. Rather disgusting in my opinion.

But yeah, no tramp stamps. Every stereotype you hear about them is pretty much true. Guys will look at you as an easy target, because hey, if you are willing to make a reckless and permanent decision with your body....many guys want to be your next reckless decision.

Also, and this goes for everyone, tattoos that can't be covered up with clothing and the like make it REALLY hard to get good jobs.

Girls with tattoos (so long as there nice looking themselves) are so sexy to me. Tattoo content also has to look nice, Girls with just a stamp of something cliche on them, not so much. I met a girl who had a full sleeve tattoo and I borderline fell in love with her arm.

I've got no problems with simple tattoos at all, but a black outline of a star just strikes me as something that just shows a lack of imagination, not to mention a waste of money and ink.

I don't like them, partially because as they grow older, the skin sags and the ink runs, plus, their usually tacky.

In all seriousness, If there is any one thing that makes me un-attracted to someone, or grosses me out, it's those damn things, they tie with facial piercings on my hatred list.

Only if it's worthwhile then I don't mind. My wife is kinda perfect the way she is. She had a her septum pierced a while back and it's looks cool depending on the light, but I still think shes looks better with any piercings or tattoos. I'm actually against any tattooing that doesn't have some personal value or expression of the person. I hate seeing boring tribal tattoos or tigers or whatever people pick out of the books. I have a hand drawn tattoo based on concept art from Evil Dead : hail to the King and a silhouette of the Mask from the comics. I don't quite understand what you're getting angry at. Are you angry at my question and how it's based only on one gender? If so, there is a massive difference between tattoos on women and men. It is largely more accepted for a man to have a tattoo, but women can often be derogatised for having something similar. If a women does have a tattoo, it's expected to be a heart or a butterfly or something equally as shit. I was hoping to get a males persepective on whether a tattoo on a woman is significant to them, because as outspoken and bolshy as I am, I'm still a girl and my outlook is probably very different.

I find well done tattoos really attractive, sleeve tattoos and neck tattoos especially. I don't have any myself, and I probably won't ever get any (henna ftw!) but I love tattoos on both genders.

Sexy as all hell. Especially the ones where you only get to see the whole tattoo if you manage to her nekkid.

Tattoos aren't my thing, but they can be cool, if they're plain and simple and not over the top. And to be honest, I've seen waaaaay more girls with tats then guys here in the US. In the lounge I hang out at in my college, almost every girl has a tattoo, I can only think of one guy in it that has one. And there's an even amount of girls and guys in the lounge.

So, OP, what kinda tattoo are you getting?

I don't see it as being an important part of what I thinks attractive on a women, that's pretty much all I have to say about it.

Tats can be good, as long as it's not HUGE or too crazy. Something simple, and something close to your heart (symbolic I mean of course!) is always best. I know a girl who has a tat of two interlinking horse shoes with a simple date underneath. It was the day of her brothers death, and they both loved to ride their horses. I tend to like any body mods a girl may have because it makes them stand out from the crowd. I can think of very few mods that I wouldn't like but most of them fall into the "sub-dermal implant" category.
