For girls I would rather see clean skin, but I'm not that specific. Tramp-stamps on a girl are my cut off on tattoos.

I like the less is more approach, it can be sexy but too much is just that, too much.

Tattoos look great as long as the artist didn't learn using crayons and it's something origanal that fits the girl with them.

I can't deny that a tattoo on a chick is damned sexy. Even tramp stamps.. If nothing else it makes you more appealing to me from a sexual perspective simply due to suggestion it makes about your character.

But i should point out that if i see a tattoo, i see you only as a short term conquest, and not long-term relationship potential.

Almost always hot in my opinion.

A few examples :

I will admit that, yes, those girls would be hot without tattoos, but I honestly think tattoos on chicks almost always make them even hotter. Facial tattoos, knuckle tattoos, neck tattoos and scalp tattoos should be left to prison gangs or something, though. And, I dunno, it varies from girl to girl what suits her. A tattoo has to go with your personality and have a meaning, which is why going to a great artist and working closely with him/her on getting your vision into a design that's perfect is such a big deal.

On a side note, I might be biased, my whole left arm is covered, my chest, most of my left leg and right arm, and more, so... yeah xP

Full sleeves on girls are incredibly hot, even if I'm not particularly interested in the gender.
The only tattoos that I think look really bad are tramp stamps and cute stuff like Hello Kitty or whatever. My friend has a big tribal tattoo on the small of her back and I cringe every time she bends over.

I've got one tattoo myself, it was an incredible experience, I'm definitely gonna get some more. If that makes me look trashy then hey, I don't really care.

If its a small tatoo im fine with it, if its agiant one im instantly turned off.

Cool. I don't mind them, as long as they look good.

I have two and plan on getting more. I think its an outstanding experience, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone.
OT/ I think depending on the girl a tattoo can be really attractive. So really its up the girl to know herself well enough to say yes or no.

EDIT: Things to avoid when geting a new tat.
1. Tribal tats (unless your a pacific islander)
2. Peoples names. (unless they are your biological family, your asking for trouble.)
3. Any words in a language you don't understand. (tards)

Most of all be creative and remember if you take care of yourself it wont look like crap when you get old.

Those, indeed, are hot, and I really like the tattoos (ánd the girls), bad examples would be 'tramp stamps' and the likes, but tasteful tattoos, preferably with a story attached to them (tattoos with meanings are the best) I approve of. Mind you, I don't have one myself, doubt I ever will, but it's not something I say "hell no" to.

I don't really find it attractive. As a matter of fact, it's kind of a turn-off for me.

I quite like them. If it means something important about their lives, why not?
If it's something like a fan tattoo, that's pretty stupid.

Also, you win points for having a philosophical tattoo.

Some tattoos are fine, especially if they have some real personal meaning.
Some look generic and slutty (specifically the ones we call "Arschgeweihe")

If your going to get a tattoo, get one that means something to you. Maybe it's about your life, maybe it tells a story, ect. Don't get any meaningless tribal crap.

Personally, if I was to get one (I probably will eventually, that being said I haven't even got a piercing) it's probably end up being something geek but awesome, like a dragon or something. I kind of like the idea of having my idea of the Jabberwocky on my back or somewhere. It was my favorite poem as a kid.

Small ones, Some of them can be sexy. But dont go overboard.

I am admittedly surprised by what appears to be a fair amount of dislike toward tribal-esque tattoos. I suppose because those happen to be rather common nowadays however I like them myself, although would like to avoid ones that are over done. I have in mind to have tattooed on my upper arm a certain motto in Japanese that I find appealing but we shall see. If I was exceptionally daring I might just shoot for something like this...

On topic, it will always depend upon the tattoo. I have an immediate turn off to anythign deviod of class such as beer cans, swear words and over excessive tattoos that cover a majority of the body. I also generally do not find piercings or tattoos on the private areas at all appealing. Otherwise I have no qualm and find some quite attractive.

These for example would be attractive, although the former over the latter. The large concern with any of the images in my post is the immediate requirement to keep your body to well to do shape, otherwise the tattoo will suffer.

My girlfriend has them. I don't like them. But, they were there before me, so there's really nothing I can do/say.
I honestly don't like tattoos on women. I don't mind the small tattoos on like the ankle or neck, but 15 (obviously that number comes from my current gf) is a tad too much for me.

If they're small, they can be sexy. However, colorless tattoos make me think, "Hmm, prison?" Excessive tattoos make me think, "Hmm, Hepatitis?"

Prefer clear skin. Haven't really seen a tatoo that "improved" a person's image for me, but not all of them make it worse, either.

My general opinion doesn't change across genders, except tramp stamps. For girls with them, I base my opinion of them more on the fact that they want people to focus on the small of their back and expose it in public, and that they've accepted the label that comes with it. Guys with tramp stamps = no, but I don't look at the small of guy's backs. Yeah, live with that image.

Hey! I really want a tattoo at some point. Do not know what my design would be but only a small one on my arm. Nothing expensive or fancy. Certain tattoos look cute on girls but some look hideous.

Tattoos on females is fine... just don't overdo it. Those Suicide Girls are walking a dangerous tightrope.

A small one (a rose is the obvious one), on a delicate part of the anatomy...like the ankle, small of the back. Can be very erotic if done well...and obviously on an attractive woman!

To clarify, not too many, but around five max is good. And yeah, beer cans are turn offs. Anything that's too manly (like beer cans -.-) are kinda stupid. And redneck tattoos suck as well.

I'm fine with girls having tattoos. My mom has a few tattoos, and one of my good friends has a tattoo. I plan on having tattoos myself, so I think it would be odd of me to judge others because of them.
