I want to get a tattoo on my back. It will be called "My To-Do List" right on the top of my back going from shoulder to shoulder. Underneath it will be the 10 commandments.

Tattoos seem tacky on anyone to me. The only way I'd ever get one is if I'd just reset my broken nose with a brick and strung together a necklace of human ears, so as to finish up my grizzly appearance.

Well, being as having clean skin is the second most important thing in a girl being attractive, in my opinion. I would have to say I think they look repulsive.

Tattoos on a girl are my Leather Jacket Factor. (look it up with the search bar if you don't know what I mean) I know I shouldn't be involved with you but I really wanna for some reason.

That said: my experience is it all falls apart in a really messy way. So hey if you like messy break-ups then go for it. :D

Small tattoos are ok, like on the heel/side.

Anything remotly like subject zero off mass effect 2 is taking it too far.

The idea of tattoos on girls worries me a little, because they're a little young to make that choice. Tattoos on women however I'm all for. They're better if they're done well regardless of size.

Hot, as long as it's not overdone or on the face.

Alot of people on here are using the "they will look bad when you are old" excuse. What's the point of being young if all you worry about is an outcome 20-30 years down the road? Especially when it won't really matter.

It depends where it is. But usually I have no problem with it. I'm getting one in a couple of weeks.

Why not?

I mean, christ sake, it's their own body. If they want to make it look like a colouring book, whatever the degree of awesomeness may be, it's their own choice.
Personally, I want a tattoo.
However, the logical part of my brain keeps me from getting one.
First of all, I'm not very fond of a needle injecting paint beneath my skin...
Second, I'm not fond of pain in general.

But if someone else can take the pain and the thought of a permanent mark on your body which you may regret when you get old 'cause the tattoo, by then, will be looking rather floppy...

You know, this is one thing I could care less about, well, unless she is completely covered in them. This is the kind of thing that it can add to a person, but even without it, they are still the same to me.

I think one small one is hot.

Go nuts just don't go stupid. And make sure you go to an artist not to some guy with a tat gun.

I actually think that its quite sexy, but then it have to be a nice tattoo, or one that is done really well.

I like symbolic tattoos, something as a memento or reminder but I don't really like seeing them altogether.

I think tattoo's on girls are awesome. from a totally shallow perspective, I find most tattoos pretty damned attractive.

From a personal perspective, I don't think a girl should just get a ton of tattoos for no reason, but if they mean something, definitely.

Depends. If you're going all male biker, then I disagree. If it's a small one, then it's okay.

I prefer clean skin over tattoos, but I don't mind small ones.

I like tattoos on anyone regardless of gender. Some may think everyone and thier mom gets a tattoo these days, personally I believe it's finally socially accepted enough for it not to be a dealbreaker in certain crowds. I think it's a wonderful way of expressing yourself with bodyart.

First ink, WOO HOO! I have 3 tattoos and counting plus I'm dating a tattoo artist so I'm a little biased here, but I think on certain women tattoos are as hot a decoration as you can get!

Like everything else though there are exceptions, like if a woman has her breast tattooed. I'm sorry but nothing says "clueless white trash" quite like woman with a playboy bunny (Or anything for that matter) tattooed on her boob.

Now, I've seen some incredibly sexy tattoos women have had around their areola(s), but not too many could pull that one off.

Please for the love of all that is decent and gamer, DO NOT GET A TRAMP STAMP! I'm only telling you this because that is the one place where a woman should NOT get inked. Its been done to death, hurts like HELL and even though it looks sexy with a half-shirt, there's a reason why its called a tramp stamp...

...unless of course that's what you're getting in which case I'll just shut up and mind my own business.

Other than that, all you need to know is that it initally hurts like a non-stop bee sting, but once the outline is done the colouring is easy. Don't be nervous, DON'T DRINK ANY ALCOHOL and don't be afraid to take as many breaks as you need to!

When you get to the shop, before you even get stencilled, ask when the last time was they Spore tested their autoclave and if they don't know, can't provide documentation or give you a blank look after the word "Autoclave", WALK OUT THE DOOR AND NEVER GO BACK TO THAT TATTOO SHOP. If they don't regularly spore test their sterilization equipment, there's no way to tell if its working until someone gets an infection. I'm not trying to scare you, but these are the realities of getting tattoo work done. My girlfriend does this stuff for a living so I'm not talking out of my ass here...

Depends. Some girls look terrible, some extremely sexy. The only rule is don't get a lower back tattoo, it's known as a "tramp stamp" for a reason.

I think the arm tats on girls can be sexy, and the tramp-stamp isn't bad either but some are just stupid looking

I'm not into girls with tattoos, they just don't do anything for me. that and facial pierceings. At my school there seems to be something with girls getting a small stud put in there upper lip to one side. I looks like someone took a pin out of a sewing basket and stuck them with it, I think it looks awefull.

Ear pierceings I don't mind and in fact if a women wears the right ear rings with her outfit they look damned good.

I like them. Tattoos are attractive to me.

I see nothing wrong with tattoos on either gender. Big, small, I like tattoos. Except tramp stamps; a lot of those are stupid.

I have one tiny tattoo currently of a green power symbol on the back of my neck. I am SO cool. And I'm getting a small lotus on my wrist in December.

Most of the women I have dated have tattoos, so it certainly appeals to me; and having a few of them myself I certainly can't discriminate. The only thing I'm not a fan of is women with tattoos on their breasts. Talk about ruining God's handy work. But some guys dig it so each to their own.
