Well it does make sense to you right? I am just fooling with you Commi. Comrade, amigo. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1443 Joined: 17 Jul 2009 | Magnatek A variation of an old Adventure Quest account I had (and still have (I think), yet only played for about an hour), Magmatek. I just decided to change one simple letter in the name to change it from "Magma" to "Magna". Simple as that. I've been wanting a place to use this name for quite some time. As for the avatar, it mainly changes depending on the game/movie/book that I'm currently interested in at the time. As you can see, my avatar is currently Zero, from the Mega Man X series, so you can probably guess what I've been playing. |

I just decided to cross my favourite acid (H2CO3) with my sometime favourite animal... better than all my other previous names - wow7053 (made before world of warcraft...it's just wow) Mr.D and Mvestery Mr.X ( When I somehow mistook the V for a Y in geometry wars). |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2211 Joined: 2 Aug 2006 | In my teen years, I was once tasked with coming up with a name for Draconis Combine character in a Battletech MUX. Geldon Yetichsky dripped off my fingers, my brain cells lit up as though providence itself was on board with the idea, and the name has stuck in various variations ever since. It's been a long time since my late teens/early 20s, perhaps it's time for another metamorphosis. I'm tired of people calling me "Golden." |
Paperboy Posts: 14 Joined: 2 Jun 2009 | Years ago a friend of mine ran into me as I was walking home in a blizzard. I have really shaggy hair and I'm a pretty big guy and he said from a distance I "looked like a Yeti or something" that kind of stuck and I tweaked it a little bit for username purposes. Also my name is Dan. |

Heck I remember building enough big berthas in total annihilation to reliably shoot down aircraft. Now I use it pretty much everywhere. |

Mmmm maybe because I can throw some decent arguments once in a while. Although, The idea of random is probably 100% random. However, ever since I've put that name a lot of people got "Random" in their names. Bunch of copy cats. Oh well, NewClassic likes it and that's fine by me. |

I've used it for the past few years in quite a few games, WoW included - although for an alt. Not using it anywhere else consistently, linking myself with a single (i assume) fairly rare name all over the internet kind of defeats the whole anonymity thing, eh? |

Paperboy Posts: 17 Joined: 2 Nov 2009 | I thought "air" looked cooler with a y, and then I got really into classic rock, like the band Air Supply. So, I just switched around the y and i and it looked fancy. @Gxas:

I went to see the new Star Trek movie.
The movie was being shown at an Empire Theatre location.
I figured the name 'Empireth' was friggen sweet.
I used it as the name of a character in my text adventure I'm struggling to write.
I now use it as an alias in everything.
Steal it and I kill you.
