Mine references when I fell in with the d+d crew an my university. The arty guy running one of the games was trying to get everyone to act more and more like our characters. He forgot I was playing a lizardman, and the voice and facial tics I did really creeped everyone out, so it became an in joke.

Inventing a name for Spring RTS, I thought JenkemDealer would have been funny but too juvenile. I then decided to combine the idea with Zen philosophy, creating my current username.

its a nickname.. most of my mates in real life call me bob.
Bob is actualy short for Big Ol Bear.

hell i bet a lot of them dont even know why they call me bob.

My name isnt robert, though i bet a fair few people think it is - weird how these things happen huh.

I got the nick name from a very old mate who saw me scratching my back on a door frame, Id also like to point out im about 6'3, i weigh a shitload. build like a brick out house.

For those that beleive in this kinda stuff - the bear is also one of my spirit animals, specificaly the one that controls the body, as oppossed to the mind or the soul.

Mines pretty old, even though it looks random and made up for this site. It started as Boo or something about 8 years ago when I was playing Yoshi's Story. Can't remember why, but I switched to Op. When I got to Neopets I found out that Op was taken. So the random name generator gave me Oppp7, and I've used it in almost all my games and accounts.

Well...Onyx is a cool looking gemstone. And Oblivion is THE BEST GAME EVER (disagree at your own peril, I will not take back this statement until ES5), so I put 'em together.

I've had like a dozen different usernames, because I come up with a new one every time the one I'm currently using is already taken.

My previous incarnation was "Aargh", which was already taken when registering for a last.fm account. After trying a few variations, I went with "HurrDurrDerp" because apparently my brain stopped working. When I signed up to this site I accidentally had capslock on so "Hurr Durr Derp" became "hURR dURR dERP".

Back in year 7 (grade 7 to all you americans) somewhere I had a running gag with the teacher and the rest of the class that I was addicted to fire, i think it was something about how we had to write about what we did in our holidays, and I wrote about how I started lots of bonfires down at my farm. Anyway, whenever i could, I'd ask a question that would always lead back to fire. I was the class's resident pyromaniac. the 192 just came from my brilliant idea that when I first made it as an XBL gamertag, because 'Pyromania' was taken, 192 (opposite ends of the single digit spectrum - 192837465) fitted well.

My 'other' name is Some Drop Bears or Drop_Bear , simply as its a good running joke with other aussies and lets people know where your from without putting AUS as your clantag.

Best part is? No one cares! I'm considering coming up with some obscure word or pun as my new name.

I chose my name because I liked NiceGurl and it generally isn't taken for some odd reason and I've had it since I was 14 and I just haven't bothered to change the number at the end for six years so. Also for the sake of being consistent to help people find me online, I haven't changed it.

My MMO tag is "Naoru". It means heal/to be corrected in Japanese. It fits well since I mostly played healing classes.
Also just randomly flicking through my Jap dictionary is a great way to quickly get a character name for a game.

Honestly, I can't remember how I came up with my Username. I think I was trying to come up with a unique name for my Warlock on WoW and scrambled a few words and the name Nicragomi just stuck.

Mine's also my nickname in real life. Just a combination of my first and last name. I suppose it technically started with my brother, but my version stuck better, even some of my teachers call me that.

I write. My first medium for writing was pencil. Pencils use graphite, or lead. Alchemy is the process of turning lead into gold. Writing & getting paid for it is, in essence, turning lead into gold - therefore, alchemy.

When I write on paper nowadays, it's with blue ink.

Hence, Blue Ink Alchemist.

Well, I've been known as "CJ" for most of my life, and unfortunately, I also have the last name 'Johnson'.

You can imagine my Dismay in 2005 when a certain Sandbox Crime game was released.

"That's not CJ! I'm CJ! I cried!" "Yeah, you're the REAL CJ", laughed my friend.

The name stuck, and now it's my personal handle.g

For the best part of 14 years I used "Fascination", taken from The Cure's song "Fascination Street". Last year I decided I should change it really when I stopped admining over at Pure Pwnage and changed it to Fasckira: first part of Fascination and the second part of Kira, taken from Death Note.
Either way, people still refer to me as "Fasc" so its not like much has actually changed! :)

Way back from when WoW just launched Vanilla. I wanted to make a druid and somehow I always loved the letter x.. So Dru became Dry, then I added 2 x'es... Though Dryxx sounded lame so I added an a. And that's how Dryaxx got born \o/
