I'd like to become a doctor, House style. However, since it is highly improbably (or impossible) to get such a job, I probably won't. I'm very interested in medicine, but I don't like people whining, which I'm sure doctors have deal with.. A lot.
Something which is more interesting is becoming a professor in some branch of physics or mathematics at a university. However, I won't have physics before next year, and from what I've heard, "real" math doesn't start before university level.

I'll be going to University soon to study Law, so I suppose 'Lawyer' would be the most adequate answer to this. Prosecutor if I have my way, but I hear that business barristers make tons more money, so I'm open minded about it...

If I had a choice though, I'd choose writer. I'm even writing a story at the moment (one of three parts) which I may try to push into publication, but my chances are zero to none and I can appreciate that.

I always dreamed of becoming a gamedesigner or a design-engineer. If that can't be reached, I'll be happy with the job of radio-announcer.

Now it's your turn: What do or did you always wanted to be? No bad jokes plz.

Im studying to be a Games Designer in college. Either that or a psychologist.

I've got a lot of things

I'm currently in Law School to begin an endless array of learning crap to finally become a judge. Furthermore it has always been my dream to become the frontman of a Melodic Death Metal band, I already have some very decent growls/grunts to back me up, no just to find a drummer, guitarist etc.
I also want to legally kill people, for I am very sadistic and get excited when I see blood and gory stuff.

I wanna be a scientist. I would really want to become a paleontologist, but there aren't that many jobs for them, so I'm thinking about going to limnology.

If I could have any job I want, I would like to be a paleoarachnologist.

Also a game designer, if I didn't actually have to do any boring stuff, and could work for CAPCOM, and just come up with ideas for games. I'd go: "So, remake Resident evil 5 so that there are zombie giraffes and elephants, Chris doesn't look like a neanderthal, and Albert Wesker rides an ostrich. Also, make the game good", and then a team of professional game-makers would do just that.

My mate does this. He runs a couple of pr0n sites. Plays computer all day, and lives in a massive house, in one of the most expensive districts of Denmark.

I'm taking a guess here but I'm imagining he has too, er, view the quality of the products he sells? I imagine that can be quite exhausting.

I really want to be a retired rockstar. Just an old, rich guy...living off of a few hits that noone cares about anymore.

His websites are cam sites. Women apply for the job, his girlfriend shows them how the program (which he designed years back) works, and they just start selling 5 minute private shows to old sketchy perverts. He barely does anything.

my first inclination was to say "Penguin" you said no bad jokes (it's not really a joke, I'd probably fair better as a penguin, but no video games... I do not want to be a penguin anymore).

Actual answer: Veterinary Technician, because my brain doesn't want me to be an actual vet...

This.

Actually I'm going to school for archaeology right now. I'm pretty sure all those years of watching Indiana Jones as a child had some effect on me...I've already told my parents that I fully expect a bullwhip and fedora upon graduation.

An English and Politics teacher at GCSE to A Level. Simple enough.

But, really, I'd like to make it as a musician. Still, I have a goal that is more down to earth, so that's more of an extra thing to me.

Happy. Really, that's all, right now I'm not happy, and I'd really like to become happy. I don't really care about what career I'll get, as long as I'm happy.

Drug addicts are happy.

As for me, i would like to be guitarist.

My ideal job: The one that requires that I socialize with absolutely nobody.

Since I doubt such a heavenly job exists, I'm going for pharmacy. I like science and I like money.

Well i'm in college to be a mechanical engineer at the moment, however if the math horribly kicks my ass (and it probably will), i'll switch to either game design or writing.

I guess I'm different than most people, because I've never really "dreamed" of becoming anything.
When I was really little, I wanted to be an astronaut and an archeologist, but that's pretty far fetched and I've known that pretty much forever. Once I started working and going to school, I came to the realization that it doesn't matter what you dream of becoming, no matter what career you end up with, it'll eventually end up feeling like work. Even if it's something like, I dunno, testing video games, or taste testing beer or something, eventually there will be a time that it just loses all it's joy for you.

I kind of decided that you should do something you're good at, and work becomes work. You can enjoy yourself on your off hours.
