I voted electronic as its my favourite at the minute but its always changing and I can listen to almost anything.

I can't choose any one thing, but I have some leanings towards prog rock, some alternative stuff (They Might Be Giants FTW!), and even J-pop (some of it's awesome).

Where is the indie, J-pop, anime and emo options HMM???

Anyway, I don't have a specific genre and listen to all of the above plus metal, christian rock, punk, rap (yay me), alternative and many more I can't be bothered to list.

That's my music genre.

Lately, I have been more and more interested in rock instrumentals.

Rock, Rock'n'Roll (cause they're separate) are my favorites. Good old AC/DC

I also like classical because of the 9th mostly

Jazz: Django Reinhardt, The Ink Spots, and Louis Armstrong.
Alternative Rock: Primus, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, The Secret Chiefs 3.
Swing: Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin.
Classical: Beethoven, Handel, Tchaikovsky, and whoever did "The Thieving Magpie"
Opera: Habenera and Paliagacci.
Psychobilly: Reverend Horton Heat.
Country: Johnny Cash (And that's it! Country mostly sucks!).

I have favorites across most genres... Classical has some, well classics. Techno has Daft Punk. I have no idea how to classify Outkast, but I like them. I have several various metal/heavy metal bands that I enjoy. Jazz just sounds plain nice, no matter who's playing it, as long as they're decent.

{Edit}: Holy crap, I forgot to mention I like Reggae.

Anything that's hasn't been in the Top 40 since the year 2000 (with the exception of the Red Hot Chili Peppers), or that is classical. As for my proper *favourite* genre, it has to be ska. There literaly are no bad ska artists and they all combine the proper meaning of punk with the laid-back attitude of reggae.
