I found this commercial for GUINNESS on youtube.

I always thought these guys were funny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DPKf7y1F-Q (this isn't one of their best)

I want to know does anyone else remember these commercials? and if you do, do you think they should be brought back too air?

I remember, and I enjoyed. It's an ad campaign i wouldn't might seeing again.

Companies don't care how funny their commercials are. They only care if they result in sales.

Sorry to go slightly off topic but that Guinness ad reminded me of Irish advertising in general and that reminded me of the Irish ad targeting speeding on roads.

God that was something else to watch, it was like an Irish Final Destination. Extreme and epic.

True. But I think GUINNESS does care if their ads are funny, evidenced by the fact that most of them are, at least a little, funny.

Actually I think thats true of most beer companies.

and beer sells pretty damn well.

Again, it's all about the sales.

I'm sure any company (if they could get away with it) would immediately start a campaign to advertised their product while also endorsing the complete annihilation of the Democratic or Republican party, they would do it in a heart beat if it meant sales would skyrocket.

"Don't drink six beers at the same time! Brilliant!"
