Yup, last episode they made was this really mysterious, cliff hanger and then the voice over person who annouces wut evers on next said "And you'll never know what happens next because its been cancelled!" My TV now has a machete through it.

Zoids would be my pick since it was on before Toonami went to pot.

Zoids had plenty of episodes. And it actually got four series total:

Zoids: Chaotic Century
Zoids: New Century Zero
Zoids: Fuzors
Zoids: Genesis

Anime isn't just on Toonami... it originally comes from Japan, un-butchered. :P

I know but unless you understand Japanese your kinda screwed when you want to watch the un-butchered version.

MEGAS XLR!!!! The only TV show to prove that chicks dig giant robots, I mean look at every giant robot anime. Show me one time where a girl didn't dry hump the guy with the giant robot. But Megas XLR is best, because all the characters in that show OWN A PAIR!!!

3 South. The worst part is that it hasn't been on the air long enough for many people to notice it.

Oh I remember I think it was on MTV a long time ago, but what's important is that I rememeber.

Also someone said this one but Undergrads was so great I got the intro song somewhere on my computer.

Heroes

I don't count Seasons 2 and 3 for obvious reasons

I wouldn't even count those as seasons, more like "Random people with powers do uninteresting things"

Samurai Pizza Cats. Whatever happened to creative anime? All we ever have anymore in ninjas and philosophy discussions...

The irony here being the studio that dubbed it didn't have the script for the original dialogue so they had to make up there own dialogue.
The new dub totally unrelated to the original in turn became more popular than the original.

Freakazoid and Invader Zim.

These two incredible shows getting canceled after less than thirty episodes each is one of the greatest injustices I've ever suffered.

Night Gallery.

I'm too young to have been around when it first premiered (1969, I was born 1988), but I have seen it on DVD when my cousin brought back the 1st season box set after a visit to the US, and I was amazed. It was well written, scary and always kept you on your feet, plus it was narrated by Rod Serling himself, who, if you've seen Twilight Zone, is THE penultimate horror anthology narrator, second maybe to Alfred Hitchcock only. It lasted 3 seasons and ended in 1973, but from what I can tell, was a good run all throughout.

I think everything I wanted to say has been said... Firefly, Invader Zim, Reaper, Sarah Connor Chronicles... would say Futurama if that wasn't coming back.

Firefly's the main one though - it was fantastic, and they killed it after 14 episodes. Just not fair at all. The film would have been some consolation if it hadn't forced them to try to wrap up the plotlines they had planned so quickly. If by some glorious longshot they ever brought it back as a series they'd have the sticky question of whether to count Serenity as canonical, or carry on as previously planned.

Moot point given the whole cancellation thing though.
