Gone Gonzo Posts: 3239 Joined: 23 Apr 2009 | OutlawStar was only 20 episodes long. I think. And I like them |

IIRC, N is (supposed to be) 18 and M is 19. I might be wrong, though. On-topic, Death Note and Trigun. Especially Trigun. Trigun is like a candy bar. It doesn't take long to finish, but it is quite sweet. Edit: Yeah, N is 17 or 18. |
Paperboy Posts: 20 Joined: 18 Apr 2008 | Not to mention, Code Geass was like 50 eps, with 18 Picture Dramas. It was very good, but it was not short...and not for this thread. Even Darker than Black and Black Lagoon are no longer eligible for this thread since they have started new seasons. Most Japanese Anime are 24-26 eps long (2 seasons). That is the norm. I would consider the 13 eps series to be short, and the 50+ eps series to be long. But if we keep it under 26 eps, Try: Hot and Heavy Action? Wanna laugh, light humor? Psychological/Drama? Dramedy? What ever your flavor, there's plenty to see. |

Frankly, I started watching it because I thought it was so fucking pretty you guys, and eventually I just full-out turned into a teenage girl. No shame. |

What this somewhat wise man said. More the latter then the former though. |
Paperboy Posts: 20 Joined: 18 Apr 2008 | Everyone seems to like FLCL, as do I...the funny thing is the anime started as just an exercise to test new ways of filming and animating. Funny how a test piece like FLCL could be so popular all by itself. LOL. |

Let's go with one more time because someone had to practically force me to watch Death Note and I quickly wondered WTF I had been thinking ignoring it. |
Muckraker Posts: 348 Joined: 23 Oct 2008 | Ga Rei Zero is awesome, too. Brutally violent and randomly hilarious. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 3318 Joined: 10 Oct 2008 | Black Lagoon. It is only two seasons but it one of the best anime's IMHO. Black Lagoon own all. |
Paperboy Posts: 16 Joined: 6 Nov 2009 | My personal favourites are Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (27 Episodes), Samurai Champloo (also 27 or so episodes), and Black Lagoon (again, 20-odd episodes). Code Geass is also pretty awesome, but could hardly be considered "short". :) |
Beat Writer Posts: 155 Joined: 9 Sep 2009 | I got Elfin Lied for my girlfriend, she said its really good, me, i think its weird, i love anime, but that one is just weird... |
Paperboy Posts: 20 Joined: 18 Apr 2008 | Black Lagoon got the green light for a third season...so eventually I wouldn't call it short. But damn good none-the-less! |
Paperboy Posts: 20 Joined: 18 Apr 2008 | Elfin Lied is just wall to wall violence. I even think the first 4 minutes of the first episode is one of the most violent scenes ever. But if your gonna see the story right, read the Manga...makes oh so much more sense. |

Awesome series all of them, although I think that Gurren Lagann is the best. |

I wouldent say that, i mean, it makes no sence whatsoever, compared to the games. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 848 Joined: 25 Jun 2009 | Go watch Pandora Hearts. It's only twenty-something episodes long. You'll thank me. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2235 Joined: 15 Apr 2009 | Didn't read everything thing, but if it was said it needs reiterating: MOTHER. FUCKING. HELLSING!!!!! 13 episodes. All of which blew my mind enough to make me buy the anime. Also, OVA. Oh, Death Note too, only 30 some-odd episodes. |
