The left side of my nose started twitching one day, and it was three days before it stopped.

If you've had it only a couple of days then I'd say it's absolutely fine. I've had mine regularly since I was about 15, and I turn 19 in a month, and I'm still totally unaffected beyond a minor annoyance when trying to sleep as the palpitations can get a little irritating.

I've had many heart checks for various other reasons including a general anaesthetic, which is obviously taken very seriously in terms of patient health, and no one has called it out as a problem.

Since yours is this uncommon in comparison to how I experience it, you have nothing to worry about. :D

That really put my girlfriend to rest :)

But, God, so long? I would snap if I had this for so long :P Was writing on my newly started "Let's Play Fallout 3" earlier today, and I kept losing my train of thought because of it. So having this going on for years would be annoying to say the least.

That sucks.
Luckily for me, my pain tolerance is fantastic due to years of different types of fighting.
And tons of injuries.

You get used to it, I guess.
I kinda wish painkillers still worked, though.

Not as sad as aids...
I did just go there...

Whatever bitch, today I just compared infidelity to Africa.
I think I won this competition.

THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!

rule A.1-B, article 73, chpter 4, section 5, coulumn 3, 69th parargraph, of the intenet bullshit rule book, clearly stats that you must show hard proof that the events of your statement are true, ... or atleast tell a story...

Or I could just break out the yo mama jokes...

I'm glad, I know it can be a bit worrying when you don't know what they are, and equally as worrying for loved ones.

Yeah it's been a long time now and is pretty irritating but I live with it. It doesn't stop me doing any physical activities and after a while I learned to shut it out. With all the medical checks under my belt without having it labelled as a problem it doesn't worry me now, although I obviously still keep an eye out for any other symptoms of an underlying problem that could be worse, but since other people in my family have got it, I just think it's the simple and harmless type that has no easy remedy.

So long as I'm healthy and random things like this aren't stopping me doing day to day things they don't bother me. :D

Yeah, it's my heart. But it's beating weird. It acts totally fine, then suddenly it beats two times or so a bit harder.

You probably just have a regular ectopic beat. These things are on the whole absolutely harmless but if it continues to bother you just go and ask your GP if you can be referred for an ECG, if only to put yourself at ease. So long as you're not feeling faint, gasping for breath after relatively trivial exercise or going pale then you likely have nothing to worry about.

As for the twitch, put some ice on it for about 5 minutes. It'll relax the muscle and reset the nerve potentials. Works for me anyway.

I'm currently feeling like a zombie because of Louis Armstrong.

I think it is somewhat normal, since I think I remember it happening once before. I just hope it stops this time as well. Does anyone have this?

Swine Flu, perhaps?

I have no fingerprints on my right hand due to eczema. I'd go on a crime spree but without fingerprints it's hard to grip stuff with that hand.

shit, I didn't think that fingerprints would have such a big difference on grabbing things

When I put my leg some way, my ankle twitches. It's not annoying in the least, even in a slight way likable. It's just some kind of reflex, I guess. Like blinking.

Yeah. It's fine as long as you function in a day to day basis I reckon.

I feel completely fine in every other way, so guess it's nothing to worry to much about:

Hmm. That makes sense. Will try that next time it starts to twitch. Thanks!

Combination of watching a really long movie, listening to Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra and just generally being really tired.

My heart once beat (beated?) so fast and hard that you could see my chest moving because of it. Like a lot.

that sounds like just regular asthma to me, does it feel like your throat/chest is constricting?

No. My girlfriend just said she had first dibs on all my stuff... You could have what she doesn't want I guess.
She also said she had to "get something out of this", so I suspect she might be the one who got me sick in the first place.

Might be that, but then I wouldn't know that I was anxious... So I kinda doubt it.

Nope. Just now and then my heart goes like.... du-dun du-dun du-dun DU-DUN
It's hard to really explain, but with the help from people up there *points up the page* I think I know what it is :)
Thanks anyway!

I sometimes get very heave stomach/bowel pain. It comes in periods. I'll have a month where, three or four times a day, I will just have to stop whatever I'm doing, since pain suddenly sets in. My doctor said it was just gas moving, and that it indeed sometimes can be very painful.

Also, sometimes when I drink, my heart starts to hurt. I get shit scared every time it happens.

In addition to that I got this annoying twitch in my lip, and my leg is acting up. Got a nerve damage when I broke my back, which makes my leg partially numb on the surface. So now I itch on my thigh, but scratching doesn't help since I cannot feel anything there -_-

Anyone else got something annoying with your body going on? A old injury acting up? Your spleen tries to jump through your mouth? Vent about it here!

Umm.... involuntary twiches... leg pains... irregulat heart beat.

Seriously man, you might be about to have a stroke. Go to the emergency room.

Well, the twitches in my lip is the normal tiny twitches you sometimes have in your eyelids and stuff. So it's nothing abnormal.
My leg pain is only due to my back injury. My left leg was totally paralyzed for about a week after the injury, and I have had to train it up to be able to walk again. Due to the injury it is partially numb. And some nerves are damaged, which makes it hurt now and again.
And the heart thingy have more or less been cleared up.

It has also gone on for about two days now. So if it was a stroke, I think I would have had it by now... I think?
Anyway, thanks for your concern :)
Nice to see how nice people are here.

My eye goes crazy every now and then. Sometimes the opposite side of my chest (opposite to my heart, that is) starts to twitch. Arm does it some times too.

Everything hurts, always.
Like a constant, "This is your body when it's being beaten with a hammer" sort of pain.

xD And why is your body showing you how it is to be beaten with a hammer? If you're up for saying, that is. ;P

That is a case of baby gremlins inside of you. Should of listened when your mum told you not to go and have sexy intercourse with little green monsters, eh?

I ruptured a disc in my back many years ago, and now my right leg likes to give out every once in a while. It's fun to fall over for no obvious reason! Amuses children anyway.

I tried legitimately exercising a while back and I think I almost severed every tendon and ligament in my upper torso. For like a week afterward when I felt the tendons in my arms and chest they felt physically narrower.

I seriously do not do anything that you could classify as "HORRIFICALLY PAINFUL" but I also don't sit on my ass all day.

I sometimes twitch and shudder violently for a second or two for no apparant reason. Annoying, but nothing serious (unless I'm driving, then it can be sort of a problem).

I get that too, it's interesting.
