If you want that grindhousey (fun but still heavy) feeling go with something like Judas priest's Painkiller... or really anything off the painkiller or angel of retribution albums. If you just want heavy and brutal, I personally like Dethklok. Go with either hatredcopter, Laser Canon Deth sentence, or Cyborg slayers |

I can't believe it took 76 posts for someone to mention this song! Kill the zombies by shooting them in the head! But seriously, as nice as these metal songs are to listen to whilst killing zombies, if they were in the game itself, it would be too much. The theme needs to be something that the player wouldn't expect, and the metal is too predictable. But first, I think you need to consider the theme and artistic style before settling on a song. If it's playful, then maybe Yakitty Sax. If it's more serious, then maybe that classical piece put up earlier. But PLEASE don't take it from another game. That's cheating. |

Press Junketeer Posts: 379 Joined: 6 Nov 2008 | Well, actually, I'd like to try killing zombies to the 1812 Overture. Then I could time my shotgun blasts with the big drum hits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4h7NGMz2RI&feature=related Anyhow, Psychobilly Freakout comes to mind. |
