If we're talking about L4D, then THIS all the way

If it's anything else, then another one bites the dust, or thriller

Many come to mind but I recently downloaded the Nazi Zombie Easter Egg Muisc "The One", "Beauty of Annihilation" and "Lullaby for a Dead man" so that's all I can think of and listen to right now.

Maybe it's just me, but I always get pumped up when I listen to the Lucky Star opening theme. But an obvious zombie killing song is "Shoot the Zombies" by Andrew Pants.

Depends. If you want that grindhousey (fun but still heavy) feeling go with something like Judas priest's Painkiller... or really anything off the painkiller or angel of retribution albums. If you just want heavy and brutal, I personally like Dethklok. Go with either hatredcopter, Laser Canon Deth sentence, or Cyborg slayers

I can't believe it took 76 posts for someone to mention this song! Kill the zombies by shooting them in the head! But seriously, as nice as these metal songs are to listen to whilst killing zombies, if they were in the game itself, it would be too much. The theme needs to be something that the player wouldn't expect, and the metal is too predictable. But first, I think you need to consider the theme and artistic style before settling on a song. If it's playful, then maybe Yakitty Sax. If it's more serious, then maybe that classical piece put up earlier. But PLEASE don't take it from another game. That's cheating.

I would go pretty well nostalgic on this. Maybe some Overtures and Sam Spence NFL Films music.

Well, actually, I'd like to try killing zombies to the 1812 Overture. Then I could time my shotgun blasts with the big drum hits.

Anyhow, Psychobilly Freakout comes to mind.

Or, if you want to try something a little different, kill zombies to Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite.

Rarely do I need to play music when I'm killing zombies. The act in itself tends to be atmosphere enough.

DemondID and Pilot Bush kinda' beat me. Down With the Sickness and The Name of the Game are perfect

hmmm, I can think of some:

Papa Roach - Blood Brothers

lol come to think of it, Last Resort would also work and really, every other song from The One would do great lol

Stabbing Westward - Save Yourself

Skindred - Nobody

Korn - Blind

Curve - Chinese Burn (Lunatic Calm Remix)

Violence Fetish by Disturbed just plain killing stuff. Hoewver, for moreso calm or venturing stuff go with Eye of the Tiger or Don't Stop Me Now.

I gotta say, Disturbed's Down With The Sickness or Indestructible are good candidates. Maybe some Metallica- Battery or master of Puppets, Or Avenged Sevenfold's Beast and the Harlot.
