An accent someone from America would have.

I quite like the southern American accents I've heard myself, though its just beaten by the middle class welsh accent (not the scousy welsh one.)

Being British and a northern twat any sort of accent would do me... I've heard them all, there's a different accent for every city no matter how close... each of them have sub-accents for which part of the town or city and that part can have a sub-accent depending on the street... However I would like an American chick... I think the American accent is cute as far as women go... that or Southern English... not for the accent just because the Big Northern Monkey could show those women what there missing with those Southern Fairies... hahaha good old North vs South... lol I'm just kidding.

You do realize that Americans have a different accent in every city as well?

Of course however your cities are far bigger so it's not as weird, our cities are smaller can be just a few miles apart from each other and the difference between the accent in such a short distance can be staggering at times. Here's an example Leeds is only 21 miles from my town of Barnsley and the accent is extremely different. Yorkshire it self has pretty much it's own language http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkshire_dialect_and_accent.

What exactly is an American accent?
>.>;
You don't mean southern, right?
Anyway, I'm not really turned on by accents, or sounds at all, really...

I like the way the French language sounds, but as for accents, I guess I have to pick Russian from that list.

Slavic/Russian. Many lovings for hot girls of attraction-ness!

Also, there's this Bolivian girl in my accounting class, and the sound of her voice makes me want to put a big debit in her assets.

Unlike most Americans, I love an Australian accent on Women. Spanish is a close second.

British I suppose. I live in New England, and we don't have good accents to say the least. To say the most we have some of the worst we sound Like drunk seagulls. for example we say Woostah when anyone who read it not knowing any better would say Worcester.

I believe my favorite accents go as followed:

1: English accents. Not sure how many variants there are, but a majority of them, I really like.
2: Irish/Scottish:
3: Russian

There is southern, western, deep south, traditional American (often accepted as Northern), New York, New English, New Jersey, Gangster, Gangsta, New Orleans (Creole), Long Island. I think there are even more subdivision in the central and western states, but not being from that area it's hard for me to tell.

For girls I find the Russian accent sexiest but for men it just has to be a soft english or irish accent.

North California, Southern California, Inland California, Central Coast California, Pacific NW, Idahoan, Coloradan, Texan, "Rio Grande", Northwestern, Midlands, Highland South, Mountain South, Floridian, Bostonian, New Jersey, Bronx, Cajun, and Great Lakes.
From the top of my head.
EDIT: Forgot Hawaiian Pidgin.

Of course, this doesn't count the four different accents in L.A., and all other major cities.

Small problem with your poll, larger countries usually have 3-5 different accents within them, in the US alone I can name 4 that don't sound like mine. I'm sure other larger countries are the same way.

And Pacific Northwest isn't really a dialect, it's just how you sound when you have gills.

Sathhh afreeka (Afrikaans of course)

You guys, there's a shitload of different accents for each individual country anyway, so you might need to be a little more specific in your answers.

French all the way.

Now I have to go take a cold shower, preferably with Monique.
