A litte bit off topic: but there was this movie reviewer for one of the biggest newspapers in sweden, she was going to review the new startrek movie, without seeing any of the previous movies or episodes, so she typed in "Kirk, Spock relation" into google.
She mentioned in her review that she did not notice any of the "love" relation from the previous movies and episodes in the new movie.

Erotic fanfic isn't all that bad and you shouldn't really get it affect yourself. I, myself, actually enjoy a good fanfic every now and then. But it has to be good, there can be found some pretty bad shite.

I've read my share of bad fanfics, but luckily enough I've avoided the worst of them... For now anyways. It's not uncommon for people to run into erotic fanfics in the internet, so don't let it get to you. I don't.

Hello, fellow Escapists. I post here today to discuss something truly horrifying to me...erotic fanfiction.

I was just minding my own business, chillin' out, maxin' relaxin' all cool, on deviantArt (of course) when someone I had added to my watch list had submitted a fanfiction for my favorite anime. Now, before this, I had a very pure, happy image of this anime (as much as it could be, considering it was extremely violent). Now, I thought "hey, maybe this could be alright" so I click.

I'm not going to mention what I saw. Just that it would have made Pedobear happy, and that it has scarred me for life.

Have any of you ever had to deal with something like this?

Meh, it doesn't bother me. Hell, one of my TF2 servers has a "fetish erotic fanfiction dramatic reading" event if you might call it that. It's hilarious.

Most fanfiction is pathetic, either way. But who am I to stop those who write it? I don't care. Sure, they can't come up with something remotely original - as if it was that hard in things like fantasy or science fiction where in the end everyone is copying each other either way... but at least they aren't going to be paid for what they do.

Dammit, now I remember... I was going to write a troll fanfiction about Cthulu's hot sister. And put it on some big fanfiction site one of my girl friends visits. Ah well, that'll have to wait until I've got nothing to do.

The problem is how I viewed the characters before this.

I've been floating around the 'nets like garbage thrown in the sea for so long that little fazes me anymore. But just because it doesn't freak me out doesn't mean I understand it one bit.
