Sjakie:

Yes, the original Transformers ruled, i cryed when Optimus died back then, i know you did too. But now i hope Michael Bay kills Optimus off so my childhood hero wont have to suffer through his directing.

I was a small child when I saw it, so yes I did cry when my favorite childhood tv character actually died, on screen :( I always think the music for that scene was fantastic, so good the music of that movie I actually went and got the CD only a few months ago :D

It's ace listening to the transformers soundtrack as you walk about town, until the optimus prime death music comes on and you have to walk home bummed out.

Demon ID:
You did? Really? You ain't lying to me are you, you pesky bird?

Yes I did. That's one of the advantages of a small cinema; a lot of flexibility.

Yeah, I dunno it's like issued to every kid. I don't even know where you can even get that rug, but everyone I ask (except the two people that quoted me saying otherwise) had one and would had fond memories to playing with it

Demon ID:
This is my evidence for how much better the original transformers movie was, damn I loved that movie. I command speakers go to full and your head bangs:

This a million times over. In fact the entire soundtrack (which I have on my MP3 player). No, the entire movie. Wait, the entire animated series. Forget all that, the entire Transformers Universe before Beast Wars (including G2).

Xpwn3ntial:

Irridium:

Do I win?

You win.
EDIT: You win 2nd place.

I miss toonami so much. If it was on now I would watch it.

Back to back DBZ episodes were the best thing ever.

It all makes sense now... ;__;

Aww shows? Come on, toys is where its at!

Everyone had that as a kid!

I kept playing with those little soldiers until I was like...12-13 years old. I used them in conjunction with a part of a velociraptor toy from jurassic park II that looked like a man that had really long legs and they had huge DBZ/Star Wars crossover wars that included my lego cruisers and little model space fighters. I loved those things, so much.

RedMenace:

And I am SHOCKED that noone has mentioned this:

I'll second that!

But let's get real nostalgic now:

Mind you, I'm not THAT old, I used to watch that cartoon in the 80's when it showed here in Brazil. It still rocked, though.

And here's another one that I can't believe wasn't mentioned:

I couldn't find a good video of it without that advertisement, sorry about that.

Moving away from cartoons for a while,

Man, videogame commercials back in the day were so... uhh... I don't think I have an appropriate adjective for that. But the game was awesome.

You Americans and your fancy robots and cat people and flashing lights. CITV of the 90's was epic.

Gah, the nostalgia, it burns.

BEAST WARS! :D

And who could forget Ricky Ticki

This will do nicely

EDIT:Irridium you sodding ninja.

Both of these made my pants explode with joy.... *phew*

Thank you.... Cigarette?

I wanna find the one other person on this site that finds this nostalgic.

You kids make me feel old.

sooooo.... anyone want to start putting spoilers over the images/videos?

OT: My dad had a commodore(a type of car)... it was sold to fund sisters braces. I loved that car.

Oh my god I had a mini town rug too! I used to have cars and people and made it my own little real life town simulator, there was Joe the leader of the police station and Barny the guy who was married to Alyson and every day they'd make loud noises and for some reason Joe would pay them a visit just like with my parents in real life, ah memories.

^ That.

I wish I could remember half the stuff that I was nostalgic over. :(

Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy, I've read the whole series about 14 billion times (hyperbole) but I keep coming back to it.
