Things That Annoy You

 Pages 1 2 3 NEXT

Now lets get things straight: This isn't a hate thread, this is just a place to say things that pester you. For example, the last colossus in Shadow of the Colossus. You climb it for 5 minutes only to be flung off it and need to climb it again. Over and over and freaking over... Its pretty annoying.

I hate people who don't pay attention to how their actions are affecting others. For example, the people at WalMart who will go through an aisle and stop in the very center, not giving enough room on either side for people to pass by. Then it's somehow a surprise to them when they turn around and they've backed up traffic to the end of the aisle. Also, people who get on a bus when it's standing room and stop in the middle when they KNOW there are a lot more people that need to get on. Then they either reluctantly inch backward as more and more people either shove them over or tell them to move, or they stubbornly keep their grip on their pole, forcing everyone else getting on to squeeze by and fill the back. Such jerks >:-(

Pedestrians who enter the crosswalk when the orange hand is flashing "because they can still make it". It's not like we're waiting to make a turn or anything, you selfish pricks.

I get a wave of anger every time someone doesn't use their signal lights properly. Or at all. "Oh, no, it's fine, those things are totally optional!"

When people seem genuinely unaware that actually, their personal taste in music is not an objective barometer of what's good and not.

Colleagues who don't stop asking me dumb question...

I try not to lose my temper at work, but my irritation often shows because I can't get my freakin' work done 'cos I'm doing someone else's...

First, obligatory rant song.

Second, I can get annoyed when people ask me really obvious questions. "Did you get your hair cut?" No, it suddenly got sucked into my head!

I hate it when groups of people decide to spread out across the pathway and then walk slow as hell. Some of us have places to go! It's really inconsiderate.

Pretty much when people talk or play music loudly near to my room especially when it is night time. Dammit I want some peace and queit or at least some friggen sleep!

It really irritates me when people chew with their mouths open, especially when i'm trying to eat something. Having to sit there and listen to every horribly disgusting lip smacking noise they make while they eat doesn't exactly help my appetite.

Right now, fear. I hate being afraid and nervous. I start working at a new school tomorrow (I'm a trainee teacher) and I'm so nervous. Urgh, hate nerves.

Being poked.

It drives me insane. People think it's cute/funny. IT'S NOT. STOP POKING ME.

Oh my god THIS.

This is fucking rampant in my area. Drives (heh) me insane. All you have to do is move your left hand a little bit. IS THAT REALLY TOO FUCKING HARD TO DO?!

Grr...

Definitely mostly drivers
We have got to have some of the worst drivers where we live
Slow to react, especially at the lights
People that don't indicate, you know you need to right?
Ford drivers (Trust me)
People who drive slow and people that tailgate you when you're going 10kmph over the speed limit
Yeah, I don't like other drivers too much.

I was suddenly reminded of George Carlin...

On Topic, thing that bugs me the most is probably people putting butter in the fridge: I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SPREAD IT EASY TOSSPOT!

Also, people that hate something but then see you doing it and suddenly it's the best thing ever. For example, I was playing MW3 Survival with a friend (the only part of the game I will actually play) and I stuck with the Model 1887. He kept telling me to change to another gun and I said that I liked the gun and it worked for me. About a week later he starts using it and starts going on about how awesome it is >.<.

Too many things to list, but the biggest one is people who complain all the time.

Many a thing, but I probably spend most of my time being frustrated with me, myself and I. I am the bane of my own existence. God I hate me, that guy's such a fucking tool. Can't even write a half decent self-deprecating soliloquoy. Hmph, honestly some people. >.>

Honestly when I see people getting angry either really easily or over stupid stuff, it doesn't anger me, but I just see it as kinda pathetic, although I'd imagine some people can't help having a short tempa (T)

Flies. Impossible to get rid off and always bother me while I try to sleep.
Thankfully it's chilly this time of the year. I also made a deal with the spiders in the house, they eat all the flies they can capture and leave me alone. Else they die, very simple.

The disclaimer people put at the beginning of fanfiction.
"I do not own Harry Potter. He is the property of J.K. Rowling."
Admitting that you know that you're using someone else's copyrighted character without their permission doesn't help legally. It's like hotwiring somebody's car and before you drive away in it you say loudly "I do not own this car. I am taking it without the permission of the owner." DOESN'T HELP.

THIS! Fucking THIS! I live in a town with a major University and I am constantly astonished by people's shocking lack of either awareness or caring that they are effectively blocking foot traffic for people behind them and also for people walking the other direction.

I move to the right side of the sidewalk if I am coming up on them as a courtesy, but I'll be goddamned if I'm walking in the street for them. LUCKILY, I'ma scary-looking old man, so this has been happening less and less in recent years.

Like this you mean? That annoys me to no end too.
Also I get really annoyed by people who got problems seeing logic routes to get off the bus. The bus stops and a guy is going to get off. There are 2 persons in front of the bus standing and about quarter a million if he wants to go out the door back in the bus. Of course he picks the exit in the back and gets really annoyed at all the people trying to find somewhere to move in order for him to squeeze past.

There are a bunch of driver-related ones such as...

*If you're going to pass me, please don't get in front of me only to slam on your breaks
*Please don't speed up beside me as though you're going to pass me only to hang out in one of my four corners. I don't mind if you're beside me but stay the hell away from the four corners.
*If you're going to drive behind me, please don't use your high-beams
*If you're going to drive behind me, please don't repeatedly flash your high-beams at me

Someone above mentioned people blocking isles at the Wal*Mart. I second that. Seriously, fuck those people who block the isles. And the groups of 3+ people who walk side-by-side as slowly as possible. I actually like to walk into those people which honestly doesn't teach them a damned thing.

People who drive Mercedes-Benzes. I'm not sure why but everytime I have a "close call" on the road the other vehicle is always a Mercedes.

This. My friends and I refer to it as 'Reservoir Dogs Syndrome'.

Naggers!

Sorry, it was the first thing I thought of...

OT: It annoys me when I am walking down the street and another person and I get caught in an eternal "I'll go this way you go that way" battle.

Personal space invaders. And people who point out things, but in a rude way. For instance, If i have a spot, they wander up to you and point it out.
"OH GEE, THANKS, I FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF NOW. YOU'VE NEVER SAID ANYTHING TO ME, BUT THAT."
Arseholes.
/rant over.

When people tailgate me it pisses me off so freaking bad! How fast do you really need to go asshole?! And what makes you think that if you hit me your new car is going to survive the impact with a 12 year old car that isn't made out of aluminum! I nearly tossed an apple out my back window at a BMW that was tailgating me before cuz he was making me so mad.

Many, many, many things annoy me, in fact too many to list right now but my biggest annoyance at the moment is people who go on an on about a spelling mistake you've made on a post and when you try and explain that you have problems with spelling ( I hate to bring it up but dyslexia is more common than people think and I have an extremely bad case of it, I don't bring it up to garner sympathy or anything like that just fyi I'm just trying to make a point) they then call you a *&^%$£* retard and just won't leave you alone about it

Good luck it probably wont be too bad just keep the kids occupied and that's it
other than that try to get them interested in something

As for my annoyances when people take my glasses and wear them for a while and then look at me surprised and say "wow you really cant see well can you." Never I always wondered why I had them thanks for informing me

when you lose something and someone asks "where did you put it last". BITCH IF I KNEW THAT IT WOULDN'T BE LOST!!!!!!!

Repeated Threads....

lol kidding aside though, i hate it when people say something that is wrong and when they are corrected immediately follow up with "oh, what did I say? Oh yeah thats what i meant."

That is an awesome name for something so goddamn annoying!

People who expect someone else to do their work because they don't like that particular assignment, well i don't like it either, get to work.

Just people... In general, especially the 'cool' crowd.

On an individual level I can be fairly sociable, but I just.. Urgh

The English government... Don't get me started

And finally people who take bull-shit subjects and claim they have the same academic value as real ones, 'Yes, I'm sure your Leisure and Tourism A-level was a real ducking challenge, but no university is going to consider it on par with English Lit'.

Okay that's all for now.
