Although for me I only like

I've never been much of a car guy.

Back to the Future immortalized it. DeLorean, biptches.

Another is a WW2-era motorcycle, sidecar still attached. Throw in a fake machine gun and a few ammo boxes and you have me drooling.

Bugatti & Lamborgini...one day!

The Brutus! (Manliest car ever made!)

Naturally, I can't own one. They're not made anymore, and out of my price range regardless, but very, very pretty cars.

For the real category I would like to submit the Chevrolet Turbine. A car with a turbine jet engine running it and able to run on anything that can burn when a vapor.

For the fictional category I would like to submit the both the Tripods from War of the Worlds, or the Leviathan from Unreal Tournament 3. The tripod because of its look and the fact it is literally out of this world, and the leviathan because it has an ion cannon that, as the games manual says, is typically used on orbital attack satellites. Both of which would be a blast to drive around in, and yes pun intended.

1. mustangs, 93 and older
2. Corvettes
3. all classic muscle cars

I have some serious love for this car and my friend always jokes that my car is rotting away some were in a junk yard.

Anything built after '95. Preferably American or European. I'm quite partial to the new BMW 745 and M5. Also a huge fan of the Shelby GT500 and Camaro ZL1.

My Baby, 1965 Chevrolet Corvair

love her, such a pretty car

My favorite car; The one that gets me from point A to point B and back.

My Dream vehicles:

2005 BMW M3 GTR

I have NO idea why, but it is just such a sweet car in my eyes :3

I have a few favorites.
first time trying to spoiler tag apologies if i cant figure it out.

Lastly, a car with a tragic history

Babs broke land speed records, and has been restored to full working condition following an accident, wherein the chain-drive system failed partially decapitating her driver J.G. Parry-Thomas. After the incident she was buried in the sand on the beach at Pendine for 40 years.

Either the 2001 BMW M3 GTR Prototype, or the SL65 AMG Black for reality.

And the Trackmania hypercar for having a near unlimited top speed.

An old Volvo 240 (:

If not, I'd love a Mini, Beetle, Morris Minor or a Citroen DS

image
image

Citroen looks so fecking awesome =D Like a 1950's-esque space car.

My personal favorite is a recent one the 2005 Mustang Gt.

The Zonda C12. First saw it in Gran Turismo 3, been in love with it ever since.

The only car I'll ever need.

One day, my pretty...

Either a Goddess or a Donkey.

The Goddess

The Donkey (AKA Moke)

My neighbours had a DS when I was a kid, quirky, beautiful, and very Gallic, I've loved them ever since. I actually owned a Moke, and would like to again, it is such an unassuming fun little car.

Dodge Challenger any year especially a 1971, Pantiac GTO 1967

Or a Range Rover Autobiography

Only 2 things come to mind for me on this one.

The Bugatti Veyron

and the 2007 Koenigsegg CCX.

Not too much of a car guy...that being said:

I probably couldn't ever get one but the 1989 Batmobile is the car I want. It's the fucking Batmobile after all!

I currently drive a '71 VW Van, which is simply the most fun vehical I've owned (The others were an '88 Plymouth K car, and an '89 Acura Legend).

I've always loved the older Mercedez 240/300 series diesels. I like the styling, they're comfortable...and short of military weapnory you just about can't kill them.

A favourite cars thread on The Escapist? Never thought I'd see the day! Well I'll gladly join in!

Aright... I hate it when this conversation comes up, but I'll give you what my favorites are at this exact second. (they're gonna change as soon as this post is up, can't make up my goddamned mind XD)

Pretty much the best American turbo car out there.

Just can't stop lovin the square bodied GMs today, for some reason...

Whats not to like about the Z28 with the split front bumper?

And, of course, I need SOMETHING from modern times so that you guys don't think i'm stuck in the past.

The beautiful Ford Escort Mk1. My car goal.

Just about any of them will do but the RS2000 version is especially desirable

If you liked those, then you'd love a continent to your east known as 'Europe'.

The best muscle cars ever made, were probably made, by BMW.

BMW M5 E39

BMW M3 Coupe

Those would probably be some of my favourite cars, other than that I'm a big sucker for hot hatches. Especially Volkswagen, Golf GTIs, the Lupo GTI, the current Golf R, but for super quick machines, you can't go past the Veyron really, probably the best car ever made.

Nah man, the European cars are good and all, but its plain, vulgar, unapologetic horsepower that makes the American Muscle great.

I feel this becoming a sub-plot, so I've snipped the OPs large post.

American cars are, and have always been, a good bang for your buck solution.

However, money being no factor, with some very very rare exceptions (see Cadallac CTS-V), European cars will go faster in a straight line and around corners, They have more power per litre, they are better built, more reliable, imo sexier (yes even the German ones), and overall, simply better performance cars.

I can't think of anything, aside from that one Cadallac, that'd really compare in terms of true performance, to a European car. Again, best muscle cars are German, specially, BMW.

im a fan of the Lotus Elise/Exige NOT THE FINAL VERSION, the MKII

Hes just so cute and smiley :D.
