I mean, there are people I generally disagree greatly with, but I'd only ignore them if they were trying to irritate me intentionally a lot. I can generally agree to disagree with people.

6. They are pretty much my ex friends from High School. Now they are my ex because they tormented (make fun of) me during High school every day.
Anyway once I made new friends at University I became furious the way my ex friend treated me compared to how my Uni friend treat me (they appricate me just the way I am) I decided to cut tied with them.
Granted these days only one or two appear online but to be fair one of them had an idiotic email address name (the type that would not reflect well if you put that on your CV).

Okay, I vaguely know that ignoring people is a function based on a couple posts here and there, but I don't plan on ever using it.

I tend to put annoying people on ignore rather fast, especially those who insult/attack others, post huge embed images, use memes or have mlp avatars.

1. Only one. The person was constantly aggressive and angry despite my attempts to calm the discussion, they even called out other users to ignore or disregard my points naming me "BiscuitTroll". They then quoted other users and posted that my biological knowlegde (though 100% correct) was actually wikipedia plunder and i was ignorantly spouting c/p information. Attempting to rile up nice calm users against me was sickening and they were ignored immediately.

One. He (she?) makes posts that add absolutely nothing to any discussion and does so in a trollish way. I really have no idea why the person hasn't been banned, to be honest. But, they haven't. So I put them on my ignore list. Which isn't a huge deal since they have a low post count anyway. It just saves my eye muscles from having to roll. Haha.

None. There aren't really that many users here who I have that big a problem with and even in cases where I have absolutely no desire to converse with the person in question, I have no obligation to respond to them anyway so it makes little difference.

Pretty much every family member that is bellow 18 years old and over 40 years old.

Up until recently only 2, but now I'm going to expand that a lot, added 3 more right now, just by reading a topic about gun ownership and a topic about executing a retarded.

I'm active in a lot of forums, but none has as much ignorance (or trolling maybe, since sometimes it's hard to believe the guy is serious) as this forum. People who are not even worth having a discussion with.
Though I use the system more to flag the user than to avoid reading his posts, because I'll end up reading their post anyway, my curiosity takes the better of me, who knows, maybe I'd change my mind, but so far that never happened.

There's only 1 guy on my ignore list that is there not because of his ignorance/trolling, but because he never says anything discussion worthy, just some lame sarcastic jokes. Don't remember his name but he's always the 1st or 2nd replier of a new topic, specially in the news forum.
