Put your inspiring, memorable, interesting quotes here, because I want to see what you guys can come up with!

I'll start with mine.

"Believe those who seek the truth. Doubt those who say they've already found it."

Well let me just quote the late-great Colonel Sanders, who said..."I'm too drunk to taste this chicken."

-11th Doctor

"Some goddamn fool once said that flanks have got to be secure. Since then sonofabitches all over the globe have been guarding their flanks. I don't agree with that. "Answer: About 20 years, master."
-HK-47 and Revan

Sorry but I have a whole book full of quotes from HK-47

I think this quote is the best one ever.

"When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

Or, if you like something longer;

"Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

C.S Lewis. :)

Hell, who would have thunk it? Even a christian apologist can be insighful. ^^

I am Garrus Vaklian and this is my favorite spot on the Citdel!

Garrues from mass effect 3, such an awesome line.

"I don't care wether it's God's own anti-son-of-a-bitch-machine, or a giant hoolahoop, we're not gonna let them have it. What we will let them have is a belly full of lead, and a pool of their own blood to drown in. Am I right marines?" "Sir! Yes, sir!" "Damn right I am."

-sgt Johnson, the most epic guy ever, at the beginning of the first halo.

"Science adjusts its views based on what's observed
Faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved"
-Tim Minchin

Not necessarily the most badass line out there, but it's crushingly true.

"As soon as men decide that all means are necessary to fight an evil then their good becomes indistinguishable from the evil that they set out to destroy."
-Christopher Dawson

EDIT: Oh and another one
"I do not feel inclined to believe that the same God that endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect intended us to forgo their use."
-Galileo

"Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing."
Thomas Jefferson

One of my favorite quotes because I find that I waste a lot of my time doing absolutely nothing.

what? no "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum. " from They Live?(Nada)
"I aim to misbehave." Captain Reynolds

"Women are a lot like quarks: they move around quickly, they're impossible to understand through direct observation, and yet they affect everything they come into contact with." - Hisao Nakai (paraphrased)

"Friends are only friends when it suits them." - Arnold Rimmer

"Love is what separates us from animals" "No, Lister, what separates us from animals is that we don't use our tongues to clean our own genitals." - Arnold Rimmer

"A scientific man ought to have no wishes, no affections. A mere heart of stone." - Charles Darwin

"God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven. I can't live with that."

A badass quote from one of my favourite films, Dead Man's Shoes.

Also, from Game of Thrones. "There are no men like me. Only me."

"I want my father back, you son of a bitch."

Needs a little context. Nazi ambassador/diplomat is talk to their Swiss counterpart for this exchange. Paraphrased slightly in the beginning, final quote is exact.

Nazi: It seem's you only have an army of 25,000 soldiers.
Swiss: Yes, but our citizen's are trained as citizen-soldiers, that 25,000 can become 500,000 in 24 hours.
Nazi: So what if you face an army of 1,000,000 soldiers?
Swiss: Then, we would fire twice.

"I don't need luck, I have ammo."-Grunt

Liquidacid23:
Well let me just quote the late-great Colonel Sanders, who said..."I'm too drunk to taste this chicken."

Hahahaha! You made my day! Will Ferrel is #1.

"Like I told my last wife, I said "Honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it's all in the reflexes." - Jack Burton, Big Trouble in Little China

I don't know if its been said already,

Jaeke:
"I don't need luck, I have ammo."-Grunt

This

"Forgiveness is between them and God. It's my job to arrange the meeting." Denzel Washington - Man on Fire

"I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I'll kill you all." - General James Mattis, USMC

Ulquiorra4sama:
"Science adjusts its views based on what's observed
Faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved"
-Tim Minchin

Not necessarily the most badass line out there, but it's crushingly true.

I now realize that there is really no merit to make Science and Faith clash when they should really be mutually exclusive. The very definition of Faith requires it you to be able to believe in something regardless of evidence.

Dufaunce:

"Friends are only friends when it suits them." - Arnold Rimmer

"Love is what separates us from animals" "No, Lister, what separates us from animals is that we don't use our tongues to clean our own genitals." - Arnold Rimmer

Someone tried to use the genitals quote on me once. I just replied with "and what separates me from you is I use mine to clean other people's."

Another Rimmer quote: "Love is a device invented by bank managers to make us spend all our money."

My great-grandfather said this right before dying: "Oh poop."

These are all ones that I quote (or paraphrase) regularly while playing vids:

From Aliens:

"Get away from her, you BITCH!"

And also:

"I say we dust off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."

Some more:

"I came here to kick ass and chew bubblegum. I'm all out of bubblegum."
- They Live

"Time to kick ass and take names."
- Knights of the Dinner Table

"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"
- Uh, Star Wars, I think? Not sure

"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!"
- Henry V

"Cry 'Havoc', And let slip the dogs of war"
- Julius Caesar

OK, this one isn't badass, and it's just a meme, not a quote, but I say it whenever I die stupidly:

"I regret nothing!"

And here are some more random badass quotes:

First, a bunch from Army of Darkness:

"Good, bad...I'm the guy with the gun."

"Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick!"

"Well hello Mister Fancypants."

"Yo, she-bitch! Let's go!"

"Groovy."

And some others:

"Whose side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We're evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to sow devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that."
- Colonel Saul Tigh, Battlestar Galactica

"You can't make an omelette without ruthlessly crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning to others."
- General Tarquin, The Order of the Stick

"You come at the king, you best not miss."
- Omar, The Wire

"Okay. You people sit tight, hold the fort and keep the home fires burning. And if we're not back by dawn... call the president."
- Big Trouble in Little China

"Yippe-ki-ay, motherfucker."
- some guy in some movie, I don't remember

This last one requires a little background: Philip II of Macedon was invading ancient Greece. With key Greek city-states in submission, he turned his attention to Sparta and sent a message: "You are advised to submit without further delay, for if I bring my army into your land, I will destroy your farms, slay your people, and raze your city." The Spartans sent back a one word reply:

"If."

"If there is such an thing like happiness in this world, it should remind of the neverending void. Nihility is having nothing, and having nothing to lose. If that's not happiness, then what is?

The things that are not reflected in my eyes do not exist.
The things that are reflected in my eyes have no meaning.

There is nothing

In you

And In me."

-Ulquiorra Cifer, Bleach.

This really stuck in my mind after reading his backstory from Unmasked ^^

"Ahh, just shut the fuck up!" - Geralt of Rivia in reply to the Professor before their fight.

Sounds tame here, but the way he says it in-game is so... so... so fucking awesome.

"Don't believe in yourself, believe that I believe in you"--Kamina from Gurren Lagann(not exact wording but the ideas the same)

"Leroooooooyyyyyyy Jeeeennnkiiiinnssss"--Famous Battlecry

"Now, now my good man. Now is not the time to be making enemies." -Voltair on his deathbed to the priest asking him to denounce Satan.

"had to be me, someone else might have gotten it wrong" - Mordin
