I was just about to make this thread. I was so excited to share the news with everyone! At first I thought they were simply re-runs but then I saw it was the good old Tom and he reviewed Mass Effect 3! I thought they'd made a comeback, that this would be the new home and time of Toonami. No more sleeping for me! And then instead of living in bliss, I decided to go on the internet only to find out that it's a joke.

...that is fucking terrible.

It's back! *turns on my TV for the first time in years* and my TV is broken. The only thing worse than having parents who don't know how to use technology are parents who know how to use it better than you. My dad replaced my satellite box connection with the live feed in his grow room...

I actually like it. A fun April Fool's Day Joke can be great, and it's nice to nostalgia even if it's only for one night.

It reminds me of that scene in the movie A.I. where you can use a hair or something to bring back someone, but as soon as they go to sleep they die.

Oh well, at least we still have Toonami Aftermath on the net... provided that the sun doesn't send a solar flare to destroy the internet.

Funniest April Fools prank I've seen in a while actually happened back in 2009 in Australia when the Herald Sun newspaper announced that a Chinese construction company had won a bid to rename the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The funny part was reading all the jingoistic raging posted by racist fuckwads on the paper's website.

Okay, maybe it wasn't that funny (guess it showed our true colours), but then again I do have a fairly warped sense of humour. . .
