Poll: Racial Attractiveness Pages PREV 1 2 3 4 5
I'm white, male & straight I'm not sure if I'm suprised or not at black women being found to be the least attractive. I used to be more attracted to Asian girls but its more mixed now. I don't find black girls less attractive than white girls - but I dont see anywhere near as many so its hard to say =S
I'm caucasian and I'm attracted to caucasians the most. I thought being attracted to your own race is the most common. Isn't the human meant to be hardwired to be most attracted to their on race? I wonder how much the media effects out views on this?
the media has a degree of guilt in maybe the lopsided view of the population but obviously, the details of the femenine form seem to be rooted in certaint types of pretty and not pretty that does stretch across some races
American Indian male (Red Indian if you prefer.)
Why not date other Native Americans?
On topic: It depends. Yeah, that's an annoying answer, but it's true. I didn't find myself attracted to Asian guys and mostly still don't, but now my boyfriend of over a year is half Chinese-Singaporean. And he's stunningly beautiful. Don't think about race and try to analyse your preferences. It's just foolish. Not only does physical attractiveness not matter so much in the long run, but these physical racial categories are far less rigid than you think. There is a huge variance amongst all genders and races. Both in the face and the body. You might think you like the small, petite Asian girl look, but then there's this huge, towering, beefy one who really gets you going. Don't be closed off to a potentially wonderful experience with her, you're afraid of trying something new, or acting on your feelings because they are unexpected. Go for it, life is too short to have these sorts of hangups.
It never really came up. Like I said, I live in a pretty white city so finding other locals that share my heritage is difficult enough without the added difficulty of adding romantic chemistry to the mix.
What I like in women's bodies Curves The race of women's that have these traits are Black Women, Hispanic Women, and Caucasian Women ( Specifically blondes, from what I've seen)
That poll is queerly formed, why does it include sexes and why are there three poorly defined races to choose from You could call me somewhat of an extremophile, i like very white and black people.
There really are not that many blondes as it might seem.
there wasnt enough room, for all male and female definitions, I apologize
the poll results speak for themselves, thanks for your input people.
Black males. DISCLAIMER SINCE APPARENTLY I NEED ONE OT: wow, NO ONE else said black men? Really? That's outrageous. On the other hand, it means I might OT have much competish when I enter the gay scene. >:}
Straight white males. Preference towards Asians and Caucasians.
I guess I'm Thespian's straight female counterpart. I find black men vastly more attractive than white or asian men. I'd be happy to date any guy if he was compatible with my tastes, obviously, but given the choice between a white guy and a black guy, who were equal in every other way, I'd go for the black guy. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm white. I guess that's important or something.
To continue the trend, as a lesbian, I find black men in general easier on the eyes. I've got no interest in them, but your average black man is more likely to be attractive than your average man of another race. In turn, I find that black women tend to attract me least. This would lead me to theorize (in my extremely not-an-expert opinion) that there may be racial traits to peoples of African descent that we associate with masculinity. *shrugs* Something to think about, anyway.
That's an interesting point, as I do tend to float between identifying as straight and identifying as bisexual and the main thing keeping me from outright settling on bisexual is that I kind of require masculine traits in order to be attracted to someone. And oddly enough, when I imagine what my ideal woman would be, she typically has a lot of the physical traits that black women have. I dunno if it's just my attraction to black men bleeding into my idea of an ideal woman, or if maybe your theory about people of African descent having more masculine features holds some weight. *shrug* Maybe someone will do a study on it some day.
It's so funny looking at this thread and seeing how people are all "OMG YOU CAN ONLY FIND A CERTAIN RACE ATTRACTIVE, OUTRAGEOUS! But I "prefer" race x". Calm down whities, you can like one race and you won't be called a racist. I prefer white or hispanic males, I do not find black males attractive (except in a couple of cases) and asians are the bottom of the barrel for me. Middle Eastern folks are a hit or miss.
Where's the option for the Latina women? I'm a white guy and if I was living in America I'd be all over them.
I tend to be towards european/white females... they are just so darn attractive a lot of the time.. but sometimes middle eastern women can have such smooth skin :P
I find that there are women of all races that I find attractive, however all the people I've ever considered dating have been white. On the other hand, if I meet someone totally amazing odds are race isn't gonna factor into it...

I think it emphasizes the waist to hip ratio. But not everyone with a bubble butt necessarily has wide hips (or vice versa), so it's difficult to say.
