I have changed my avatar precisely once, and that was from nothing to The Great and Powerful avatar I have now. I don't intend to ever change it, and judging by how steadfastly I've stuck with other similar things, I doubt I ever will (I've had this same login everywhere I go since very the first time I ever got to pick the username for myself). | |

I change my avatar whenever i see one that i like better, or if i'm in the mood for a new one. Currently i'm thinking of making another, but i like this current one so far. | |
I think I'll stick to the theme of psychedelic glasses with my future avatars, I've had this one for months I think. I know how to put pictures on my posts that are on the Internet, but not sure how to get them from a local folder. Otherwise I would post my previous avatars.

I don't change my avatar on here very often. My first was, I believe, some horrible garish mass of colour that I thought would be artistic. Secondly was Legion from Mass Effect 2, and then pony. Pony pony pony pony.

I remember that! I've changed my avatar once, to the one I currently have. The other one was a chibi L4D hunter done in MS Paint. Both my avatars were made for me by friends. I absolutely love this Boone one. | |

I try to change once a month. I haven't had anything particularly exciting jump out at me so I'm currently using an old Souleater .gif I made awhile back. | |

I switch quite often, pretty much whenever I feel like it. Have a list so that I can revert any time I want. The one I'm using currently (Moon and Star) actually has two variations, clockwise and anticlockwise, that I switch from time to time. Just in case it screws with someone's mind. | |

Pretty randomly, up until recently where I've kinda decided on a thing of swithcing up my avatar with a different album cover for each month. Unless I've added them as a friend, I doubt many people would have recognised me be name/avatar anyhow, so...*shrugs*. =/ | |

I used to change my avatar every week. It was sorta my "thing" here on the Escapist. Now though, I mainly stick to ol' Vivi here. Although I still change occasionally when I feel like it. | |

I tend to recognize people here exclusively by their avatars, so i've stuck with this one for 99% of my time here so far so that others who do the same can recognize me better. I had two avatars back when i went under the name of "seminoob22", one of the pyro from TF2 and one of Raziel from the Legacy of Kain series. About a month after i joined, i decided to change my name to "secret world leader" (shhh), and i've had this avatar ever since. | |
I feel like avatars are more of a symbol that represents you, rather than an image depicting you. The avatar is representative, unlike a profile picture. Thus, I feel like avatars should be changed far less than Facebook pics. | |
