When you have no plans to go anywhere, not even to leave the house... Pages 1 2 3 NEXT
Dressing gown, so fucking warm. If I'm too warm then I just throw on jeans and a tee.
Your mom is probably just overreacting to your poor dressing habits in general. Or maybe she's crazy, I guess. If I have no plans to go anywhere, I'll usually wear a t-shirt and light sweatpants. I don't like wearing my pajamas around all day though...probably just a habit.
Well I dress in the same way I always do, in case there's an emergency I can go out immediately without looking bad, but then again when looking good is one of you're few assets you have to make sure that you look good all the time, but to be fair it's kinda hard for me to not look good, but anyway, yes I do dress well even if I'm not going anywhere in fact I sometimes dress more formal when I'm not going everywhere, because I do like to look at myself in the mirror sometimes.
I tend to feel like someone is watching me, so yeah, I suppose I care about what I wear alone. Besides, I always dress stylish.
Yeah, living with fire alarms makes you paranoid, so I get dressed! I'll always shower though, I just like feeling clean.
Nah . Wife beater and jogging pants all day every day , as long as i don't leave the house . If i do leave the house i always dress classy . I am super attractive ... Until i speak that is , then i have the sex appeal of peter griffin .
Yeah, I wear wrinkled clothes even when I leave the house, because I give zero fucks about how I look if I'm not going somewhere fancy or to work.
So brave.
Living with what? | |
I just dress casual 24/7, unless there's somethin' fancy goin' on. So, jeans, a t-shirt, casual shoes and a jacket (if it's cool)
I don't like walking around in in pajamas anytime past 0800 so I usually change into jeans and a t-shirt.
Some comfy shorts and whatever t-shirt I grab from my closet. I give zero fucks about how I look when I'm going no where, besides who am I going to look nice for, my dog?
I'm in communal university halls - Sod's Law says the fire alarm will go off that one day you're in your pyjamas at 5pm.
Sat here in my dressing gown and a pair of shorts. I'm not going anywhere so I don't care what I wear. If the kids weren't home i'd be walking around stark bollock nekkid..... Until my wife tells me to get dressed.
I dont leave the house often except for work...so yeah, I kind of do good thing is I can wear what I want. but also I dont hang around in PJ's or anything, I find that depressing, makes me feel like a slacker, whatever I wear its acceptible to go outside in
I wouldn't ever dream of wearing PJs after a certain time, in part due to the fact I quite spontaneously decide to go for walks. So I keep to my t-shirts and tracksuit bottoms.
I tend to wear some comfy shorts and a tee shirt. I don't like wearing clothes in general (but I also dislike being naked), so tend to wear as comfy of clothes as possible when its just a lazy day.
If I'm not leaving the house I wear a bathrobe and sweatpants all day. Not a single fuck is given to my appearance until I have to leave the house.
I generally don't even wear pants unless I absolutely have to. If people are home, I usually wear leggings, shorts, yoga pants or whatever depending on how warm it is. And then loose t-shirts or tank-tops. If it's really cold, I have a really big fuzzy hoodie that my friend painted to look vaguely like the Cheshire cat for Halloween haha I only ever look spiffy if I'm going to be seen by non-family members.
Ironing one's pants for a day in the house... Uh, no, that's just a bit ridiculous, and trending towards OCD. If the pants in question are liable to get wrinkled, keep them in the closet for that job interview, because they simply do not qualify as everyday wear. Regardless, my preferred casual wear is a simple pair of jeans and a polo shirt. Plenty nice enough for unexpected company or to head to the store in, but not so nice I can't get some work done, or simply be comfortable in. Oh, and a pair of heavy work boots, but that's a comfort thing very few others share. P.S. Speaking of being a bit too concerned about appearances
My favorite pair of Pajama's I've had for 8 years. They're already frayed around the ankles and wrists and and pretty much threadbare and full of holes in the elbow section. I don't usually change until I actually need to leave.
Just as long as it's something I don't mind getting cat hair all over. When the cats see me sedentary, I get piled on.
Nope. I usually just where whatever clothes I wake up in. Hell, I would walk around in my underwear, or naked even, if not for the fact that I do not live by myself. XD I mean, I am not going anywhere, I am not meeting anybody. Why should I change when I am perfectly comfortable? :P
Jeans/Pajama pants and a T shirt with a plaid flannel shirt is usually what I wear around the house.
I barely make myself look presentable when I do leave the house, I certainly won't do it if I'm staying in. although I do remember a quote from slaughterhouse five: "If you stop taking pride in your appearance you will very soon die." Taking care of your appearance makes you feel better and you stink less, plus if you do go out and meet the love of your life you won't make much of an impression.
If I ain't doing anything I'm chilling in my pajamas. Mind you my pajamas are a tshirt and a pair of gym shorts.
If I'm in the house all day then I just put on boxers, socks, a t-shirt, and I have an old pair of black sweatpants that I always wear. I'm always comfortable when I'm home. No reason to get all dressed up if you're just going to sit around in the house, that is my opinion though.
My clothes are always wrinkled, have stains, and holes in them. I don't care. I get my clothes from good-will, so fuck it. Also, I think I still look okay; I pull it off somehow.
I pull on a pair of slacks and find the baggiest tshirt I have, then just lay on the bed waiting for something to happen
If I'm not doing anything how did I end up in clothes? Seriously, I don't bother. When I'm out I at least put on some jeans. Home it's sweatpants galore. God I love sweatpants.
I don't understand how people can wear jeans while sitting, i find them very uncomfortable.
If I'm staying at home, no I don't care what I wear or how I look. Why would it matter?
I think in general it's more important to stay clean than to focus on clothes. Put the extra effort into your routine to manage general hygiene as well as things like eating and drinking in meals rather than snacks or whatever is easiest. This is something I personally struggle with and have to make a very conscious effort to do. In my mind it became something I would do to disguise myself for other people, rather than something done for its own merit.
You would be surprised at how your mental and physical health can suffer as a by-product of neglect, and how it does actually corrupt your other habits.
i keep on what ever i was wearing last night then i shower and change into some more pj's and repeat.
Home, heck, if I didn't live with my mom, I'd wear t-shirts and sweatpants almost everywhere, as it is I just put on jeans and a nicer t-shirt (with buttons and one of those collars that rolls down and out) or a long-sleeved shirt if I'm cold, I don't even own anything more formal than that (and before you ask, I'm 23).

Do you care about what you wear or how you wear it? Do you care if it's wrinkled or that you've been in your pajamas all day?
My mom made me iron my pants today when she knows I'm not going anywhere. I haven't left the house all day and it's 6pm in my block. Apparently, she believes that I need to learn how to dress nice. All the time. No matter what.
It's a bit frustrating at times...
But then, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it is important in every circumstance...
