Went over to a girl who I'm friendly with's dorm.

My first and last time was about 4 months ago. I sure do miss her. Pretty much all of my escapist posts and tumblr entries have been reflective of this. It's pretty pathetic. I've tried to date other people, but it always falls apart before even getting to go out. There's just no one around, and if there is, I certainly don't know who they are.

I don't want to have sex again until I know I can have it multiple times with the same person, i.e. a girlfriend. But I'll probably never have that, since I'm too desperate/needy/lonely/isolated. To be honest, I hate video games. Movies and books, too. I'm beginning to despise anything that filled my time when I didn't have anybody to spend it with. I hope I die soon.

There is no actual evidence suggesting that women receive any beneficial effect from going off the pill. Even the 1 week off per month is only there to keep the period going, but long term studies have shown that going without a break week have never been shown to contribute to any risk in negative side effects.

So basically, don't go off.

I don't mean my gap week, I always take the gap week. I mean coming off of the pill altogether for a while.

I dont even get a gap week on mine. And it stops my periods. I don't like going so long without having one, thats why I'm coming off it for a bit.

Being a fourth year medical student, I can safely vouch for not going off the pill. There's no medical reason for having "gap weeks", unless you've started to get spot bleedings. My girlfriend has had a "planned" menstruation about twice or trice a year (whenever she started to get small spot bleedings) ever since she started on the pill. Only took her two weeks to get pregnant when she stopped taking the pill (it was planned ;-) so it definetly do not reduce fertility at all.

Basically, the body goes into "pregnant" mode, so being continuously on the pill for 9 consecutive months without menstruating, is physiologically and hormonally identical to being pregnant for 9 months (and, as you might know, not menstruate).

Cerazette. You can take it with some antibiotics and since I am always sick it's pretty good for me. They didn't tell me at first that it might stop my periods though, so that was kind of funny and terrifying at the same time.

I'm amused now, picturing people marking their calendars every day they have sex, so when a dryspell rolls along they can know exactly when their sex-having anniversary is.

...or I guess there was something special about that day?
