I was a fan of his since he got banned from this community over your (kinda laughable) Madden review. He stated his opinion, you banned him for it, and he just moved on.
As for the whole spoony thing, "imma tie you up in my basement and rape ya" might be taken in good humor from someone like... Zac Efron , for example, but not a 30 year old guy with greasy hair that is making a living reviewing Final Fantasy. If that sound blunt, sorry, but that's probably what went through Lupa and company's mind when they first heard it. Don't say stuff you can't afford to say, I guess is what the moral of this story is...

In a real business everyone involved would have been in deep shit for letting this spiral out of control like it did. (an executive officer would have broken his foot off in everyone's ass over this) but as I said before holly has no idea how to be a real 'Director of human resources" she is just a forum mod who got lucky.
How she handled these events proves she doesn't have what it takes to manage people/company image.
First of all it should have been planned, a week or two in advance. like ok here is what Noah is doing and here is what we are going to do as a response (because at that point it was smoldering , not a huge fucking inferno handling it badly turned it into). Secondly upon Noahs suspension she should have sent an email to everyone at TGWTG explaining the situation (as much as she could) and to not engage Noah or attempt to bait him, if he breaks more rules report them to HR but DO NOT engage him directly. Just let the guy cool off. Also as a part of that e mail it should have outlined consequences for non compliance.
finally as a last panic button she should have told everyone contributing to the flame war to cease immediately or else everyone was getting suspended/terminated.
but no she sat back and basically laughed it off telling people to "not make her job harder than it already is"
Holly is a complete failure as a HR director. Honestly in not even really pissed about the Noah incident im mad at how it was pathetically handled by the management at Channel Awesome.

Understand the suspicion of a Channel Awesome producer appearing out of nowhere and making an account specifically to answer one person in one thread on one forum on the internet which at present is probably busting with thousands of opinions and threads on different forums.
Of course, this website does link profiles directly into facebook. That would convince people you're the real Welshy, and it's relatively painless so no loss on your part for doing so.

Though Austichar had some sort of agreement with Angry Joe about producing machinima, he was never considered a contributor with Channel Awesome. In fact, I didn't even know they (Austichar & Joe) had some sort of agreement until Austichar told me that the had one (past tense) at MAGFest. So aside from claiming to be banned from TGWTG, none of Austichar's complaint has to do with Channel Awesome as a business or my position but rather his own personal view of me. That's why I noted in my reply that I was responding to the business part first. I find the whole thing a little surprising because as Welshy noted earlier, Austichar still has us on Skype.

actually the funny thing is Spoony's followers on twitter went up to more than he had when he was with Channel Awesome (which even when Spoony was a part of CA he had more followers by himself than the company he worked for). However yea the devide is pretty clear cut, either you think hes the worlds biggest douche or you forgive him. There is not much "grey" area in peoples opinions of the situation.

Pretty much what mizi said and I'll be completely honest, given how quick people will sometimes be to take one side of a story over another, without hearing both sides, I wanted to voice my opinion on it, more so just so you could see another side of it. You're right, this actually gives Austin more attention, but it also points out the holes in his original message and leaves things open to question. This way you can look at his post and my post and decide for yourself. It's more so because he made a vented post about someone who really, at MAG, went out of her way to make sure he didn't up getting booted. There's always 2 sides to every story and...without sounding like I'm sucking up...it's actually a nice change to be on a forum where people are willing to take that into account.

It's more so because he made a vented post about someone who really, at MAG, went out of her way to make sure he didn't up getting booted. There's always 2 sides to every story and...without sounding like I'm sucking up...it's actually a nice change to be on a forum where people are willing to take that into account.
