So i just had sex with a 32 year old for the first time today. My girlfriend just turned 32 . And this is where how i thought up my thread . I am 24 , my girlfriend is 32 . Our age difference is 8 years . Now I know a lot of people who would say that's too much for them personally . However i have had sexual partners that were older than that . The biggest age difference i have achieved was 18 years, I was 20 and she was 38 at the time. And quite honestly, it was the most memorable and enjoyable experience i have had to date.

So my fellow escapists what was the biggest age difference between you and a sexual partner?

I am both amused and baffled as to how it's actually used as a "rule" as people. I mean, when I'm 40, I shouldn't be having sex with anyone under 27? I'd hope a, say, 25 year old woman was mature enough to make an informed decision.

Doesn't matter...when adults are involved, anyone should be able to be in a relatioship with anyone without it being "socially awkward"...

Throughout most of my adolescence I had a crush on a girl 5 years my senior, we made out one time tops and that was it. I don't really 'filter' my seeking when I'm on seeking mode. Either I like someone or I don't, age and everything else aside.

Largest age gap I've slept with was 28 years, I was 20 she was 48 (though she was pretty hot for a 48 year old). Largest gap in long term relationship is my current at 6 years. I am 30 and she is 24. I think it mostly depends on mental maturity. If you are looking for a long term relationship the mental age is much more important than the physical age. If you are talking pure sexual relationship then I say whatever is legal and you are attracted to.

Otherwise, all of my relationships have been between 0 and 3 grades younger than me, so the norm is 0 to 3 years difference.

I honestly don't have a problem with age differences so long as both parties are consenting. I likely wouldn't have a lengthy relationship with a woman much (say, beyond 3 or 4 years) older than me, myself, but what other people do is none of my concern.

I also went out with a 16 year old when I was 18 and we were together for over a year but that was a stretch of my limit. I don't think I'd go for someone younger again, don't get me wrong, the relationship was great but he was an exception.

I made out with an 18 year old when I was 13 but I don't think that counts. He was so creepy looking back on it, at the time I thought he was cool.

On that note, when I was 18, I was hit on by a 32 year old man. He wasn't aesthetically pleasing to me already. And I found out the day before that he was married. So I was already not interested. The age just finished it off. Doing the math, that's 14 years older than me. Nearly twice my age at the time.

But yeah, that freaked me out.

I suppose a more simpler answer than this is not anyone who could be old enough to be my dad. And with my mom involved with a guy that I considered a step father before he revealed to be a cheating asshole with dreams of having two women, 32 was that at the time.

He's in his 40s now and I'm 24, so I could see someone in their 30s now. Basically, I imagine my max age difference will alter when I do.

Theoretically, I wouldn't really mind a much larger schism if the opportunity presented itself.

You might not realize it, but being alive for a long time could render your near age mating obsolete. So my age difference would range somewhere in the thousands, at the least.
