2) The amazing talents or Robin Atkin Downes. He voices: British voice in Saint's Row 2 and 3; George Washington in Assassin's Creed 3; Team Fortress 2's Medic; Brynjolf from Skyrim; many of the Locusts in the Gears of War series; Halo's prophet of Regret; as well as many, MANY more that I couldn't be bothered including. (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0235960/?ref_=tt_cl_t4)

And yet everyone who remembers the '90s would still shoot him on sight for being Byron in Babylon 5.

That's all I can EVER think of whenever anyone mentions Robert Atkin Downes... he's an awesome Voice Actor but... that hair...

THAT

HAIR!

Jim Cummings

Hearing him drop lines like "Look, I'm getting head!! HAHAHAHA!!" and "I WANT YOUR SKULLS!!!" as I rip monsters apart in Splatterhouse was quite the experience.

I was stunned to learn Patrick Warburton is the voice of all of the following characters:
1. Joe on Family Guy
2. Kusco from Emperor's new Groove
3. Brock Sampson from Venture Brothers. Brock Bloody Sampson!
4. countless other movies, shows, and even a few commercials.

Everytime I hear Steve Blum I fangasm a little. I recently got Rogue Galaxy and I was like AHA!

Also the same dude who voices the Prince in Prince of Persia voices Sly's fourth ancestor.

Yuri Lowenthal also voices Luke fon Fabre and Asch the Bloody in Tales of the Abyss. :D

Yuri Lowenthal voices fucking EVERYBODY.

But yeah, I tend to take notice of voice actors and the such, so if there's a voice actor in this list doing a role, chances are I can tell it's them within about a line.

Impressive list, but I have only read the first page of this thread (since I just found it) and someone else may have said it, but you left someone off there: Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. Most of the roles I heard her voice in have that air of authority and sexiness, perhaps because the first place I heard her was Ghost in the Shell:Stand Alone Complex as Major Motoko kusanagi. Lately she was Abigail Brand, Director of S.W.O.R.D. on Avengers:Earth's Mightiest Heroes. That show also had Jennifer Hale as Carol Danvers a.k.a. Ms. Marvel. and Steve Blum as the Red Skull.

Haven't seen her in enough to get a good grasp on her voice. Checking her IMDB page, what I can recall is Adell's mother from Disgaea 2 and SIE from Alpha Protocol. That was a surprise, but I still can't make her voice in my mind.

Yes, the hair! It's glorious! Wasn't this guy the voice of Liquid Snake? Because he looks like him, too!

No, that was Cam Clarke.

Who was also in everything ever.

As mentioned, that was Cam Clarke who also did Master Miller in MGS1 but they got Downes to do Miller in Peace Walker so it's pretty much the same thing.

"Shut the fuck up, Donny!"

"Nihilists! Fuck me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos."

"This is what happens, Larry! This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass!"

just ponder that. Both John Goodman.

That mental image. I can't help but laugh. Also, Asura voices Toriko?! Zolo voices Giroro from Sgt.Frog?!

I can't believe that Kevin Conroy has only one role. Don't believe me? Well any voice acting panel I've seen him on has him only doing and talking about Batman. Once he was called upon to do another role that he did for adventure time AND HE COULDN'T REMEMBER HOW BECAUSE HE HAS BATMAN ON THE BRAIN. He is the best one but still.

Steve Vai has an alter ego?

Who knew?

also I feel like this is relevant to this thread

Drake the Dragonheart:

2. Kusco from Emperor's new Groove

Kusco was voiced by David Spade. I think you meant to say Kronk.

So I was revisiting Age of Mythology. I figured out that...

Unexpecting, to say the least.

Lear'sFool:
I remember some character, in some game, sounding just like Julius from Saint's Row 1. I think I'm thinking of the Mass Effect series, but I'm not sure.

Captain Anderson. Think it's Keith David from "They Live".
If you haven't seen that film, go do it now, everyone, so that you know where Duke Nukem stole the quotes he didn't steal from Army of Darkness... For some reason I don't know anyone who's seen it...

Yugi From yugioh and knuckles from sonic x are both voiced by Dan Green.

Damned awesome voice

I think this every time I hear Quinton Flynn.
This guy voices EVERYTHING.

The full list is pretty amazing but for a small list of some of the larger things he's been in (in my opinion) we've got:
Dead Island, Dynasty Warriors (Zhong Hui, Guo Jia), Kingdom Hearts (Axel), No More Heroes, Call of Duty, Sonic (Silver the hedgehog), Crash Bandicoot (Dingodile, N.Gin and Nitrous Oxide) Warcraft 3 / World of Warcraft (Kael'thas), Metal Gear (Raiden) Valkyria Chronicles, a bunch of Final Fantasy stuff, a bunch of Cartoon Network stuff, Robot Chicken, Bleach (Kon), Naruto (Iruka) and a ton of other things

Knock-Out from Transformers Prime is voiced by Daran Norris, who voiced Go-To from Kotor 2, also he voiced the Doctor on Taris from the first Kotor. When i found out i admit i squee'd a little...

for those who are unfamiliar...

Knock-Out is the red one.

and Go-to

There is another voice actor from Kotor who voices a character in TF Prime as well but i can't remember who...

I've played way too many games that have Wendee Lee voicing a character. It's almost unnerving. I also started replaying Star Ocean The Last Hope and came to the frightening realization that Reimi is voiced by Laura Bailey, who also voices Rise in Persona 4.

Vausch:

Epic Fail 1977:

direkiller:

He is also Fire Lord Ozai, Red Skull,Solomon Grundy and Stickybeard from Code name Kids next door

he is the villain for like half the shows from my childhood

I don't recognise a single show you just named lol. But I've read that he is a prolific voice actor.

In order: Avatar the last airbender, Superhero Squad Show, Justice League/Unlimited, Code Name: Kids Next Door.

He's also the Hanukkah Zombie in Futurama, Skips in Regular Show, and Undergrowth in Danny Phantom.

...and it's at this point that I am now gobsmacked. Hamill did ALL THOSE VOICES?!?

*Vader voice* Impressive...most impressive.

Femshep and the female pc sylvari in GW2 is voiced by the same person. Jennifer Hale. It's the coolest one I've experienced.

Also, Keith David was in Requiem for a dream and Mass effect. I recognized his voice first, when I saw the movie, after playing some of the games. They're quite different characters, so it was a bit weird.

He also voiced Timmy Turner's dad.
He always wanted a red sports car. Now, he IS a red sports car!

OT: The narrator on Thomas the Tank engine has been many famous people, including George Carlin, Ringo Starr, Alec Baldwin, and James Bond!

George Takei and other famous actors go on Transformers pretty often

I still find it hard to believe that the voice of Lawrence Fletcher from Phineas & Ferb is also Riff-Raff from the Rocky Horror Picture Show

Also I like how Dee Bradley Baker seems to have voiced every minor or silent character in cartoon history: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0048389/

Not a too long list, but....

also Voiced

Thanks Rick May, for giving us two Badasses! :D

Ah yes, thanks for the correction, and I didn't know Spade was the voice of Kusco.

(don't know if it was mentioned)
Mathew Mercer voiced

and he voice Iron Man, not Punisher. But hell, Norman Reedus voiced punisher, so it's two in one.

I don't know how many of you have ever watched Kim Possible, but it is an absolute goldmine for this kind of thing. Especially since they seemed to bring in pretty well know actors for ridiculously small parts. I mean, you've got John Dimaggio, Patrick Warburton and Nicole Sullivan all playing regular parts.

Anyway, other than those three, Kim Possible has featured Tara Strong, Grey Delisle, Jennifer Hale, Neil Flynn, Donald Faison, Richard Steven Horvitz, J.K. Simmons, Christopher McDonald, Elliot Gould, George Takei, Fred Savage and Ron Perlman... All in pretty minor roles or background characters. I could go on, but I literally don't think I can get them all down and do it justice.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Nancy Cartwright is Rufus the naked mole rat. Derp.

I genuinely had no idea that Tara Strong voiced Harley Quinn and Juliet Starling until her birthday (when someone made a tribute image featuring all the characters she's voice acted for/as). My mind was officially blown.

It also explained why I instantly adored those characters. Tara Strong is an amazing voice actress. (Though it took a while for me to distinguish between Twilight Sparkle and Juliet Starling.. They sound so similar!)
