Personality test time!

Back in college I tested as INFP several times.
But that was many years ago.

I just tried it now - I got INTP - Albert Einstein

You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
You have marginal or no preference of Perceiving over Judging (1%)

So I went from feeling to thinking since college.

INTJ
Introvert-56% Intuitive-25%
Thinking-12% Judging-1%

That only adds up to 94%. because I'm 6% magic?

Im not entirely sure what that says about me, or whether I agree with that or not, but I guess it somewhat describes me. I tend to be pretty loyal to a close group of friends and am pretty reserved in public :/

Though, all the times I've done these I've bounced between ISFP and INFP. Personally, I've found it more useful to just ignore Jungian Archetypes, because judging people based on them leaves alot just floating out there that don't really mesh with everything else.

PsychicTaco115:
I got INTP, myself

I don't like tests like these, as it's always an absolute

Plus, labeling myself feels like I'm trying to FORCE myself to be unique... if that makes any sense >.>

Well they're written in absolutes by nature of being categories, I'd say. They seem like absolutes for the sake of recording every characteristic a certain type may possess. Regardless, at best the test is a "line of best fit" sort of thing, and I don't think it's intended to be anything more. To say you're an INTP--which I most commonly get as well--isn't to say "your entire personality can be summarized on this write-up," so much as it is, "you have tendencies which match this extreme the closest." It's kind of like putting you on a spectrum with Hitler on one side and Jesus on the other, just a little more refined and certainly more accurate, just not 100%.

Introvert(78%) Sensing(12%) Thinking(88%) Perceiving(33)%

Oh look an introvert on the internet, how rare! Not many other people have my exact type, I only saw one guy so far before me.

INTP, just like in college.

Iscandar 22%
iNtellivision 88%
Thermopylae 50%
Pokemon 11%

INTP myself.

These type tests usually point in the right general direction, but the last one and sometimes two letters can be a bit off. For myself, I find INTP mostly accurate. Except I don't enjoy word games, I detest Scrabble.

TheRightToArmBears:
I've done a shit ton of these tests (usually because of people making these threads here!) and I get INTP/INTJ all the damned time. Apparently that makes me like House, or Einstein.

Fuck, I am most definitely not a genius.

Intelligence has little bearing on attention to detail and mode of thinking. A smarter INTP/J will more often arrive at correct deductions, but that doesn't mean your processes are that much different, theirs just accounted for a variable you missed.

As the explanation said, us being wrong rarely results from us having a flaw in our reasoning, it's when we fail to account for a detail, a data point, in any given situation. Without that missed point, you'd be exactly right.

Seems like the denizens of the internet, the escapist at least, trend towards IN pretty heavily.

The massive test I took at school left me as the only INTP, so I have to question the accuracy of this test somewhat. Yes or no works somewhat, but sometimes I end up in the middle and I'd like a more accurate and less black and white option.

INTJ

Introvert(67%) iNtuitive(12%) Thinking(88%) Judging(44%)

You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (88%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

No surprise. I don't watch House but I am a misanthropic asshole from way back.

I'm not sure what they mean by Intuition vs Sensing. Isn't intuition a sense? Also not sure why Judging/Perceiving are mutually exclusive. I perceive that things are out of balance, then judge how they should be made right. Must not be what they mean.

On a side note, this is my 1000th post. Who's got two thumbs and just added a fourth digit to his post count? THIS GUY!

ISTP

Introvert(89%) Sensing(62%) Thinking(12%) Perceiving(22)%

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
You have distinctive preference of Sensing over Intuition (62%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

So that makes me Naruto

I've always stradled the line between ENTJ and ENTP.

Back in highschool I was enfj/enfp though.

INTJ

So basically standard internet user. Wish I still had those percentages but I can't be arsed to take the test again.

ENTJ

Extravert(1%) iNtuitive(88%) Thinking(25%) Judging(11%)

You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
You have strong preference of Intuition over Sensing (88%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (25%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

ENFJ

Extravert 11%
Intuitive 75%
Feeling 50%
Judging 56%

I'm surprised I'm the only one here. Oh well :)

I did this some years ago and got ISTP. Does that make me a ninja?

I think I took this test a few years back and got INTJ before.

Now I'm getting this:

ESTJ
Extravert(11%) Sensing(1%) Thinking(12%) Judging(22%)

You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (11%)
You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (22%)

What am I becoming?

ENTP
Extravert(22%) iNtuitive(25%) Thinking(1%) Perceiving(11)%

Poke holes in logic. Make it funny. Win.

That is a pretty accurate representation of my personality.

Taken it before. got INTJ, found it very accurate myself

I got ENTJ...is that Steven Colbert? I have never seen his show so yeah...

My dad has a doctorate in psychology, so I've been doing this for years and am actually certified to give the test myself. My preference has always been INFP, it's just grown more and more extreme over time.

I continually fluctuate between INTJ and INTP every few years, but as of right now:

_Introvert (89%)
iNtuition (50%)
_Thinking (33%)
_Judging (22%)

And no, I disagree with the "self-confidence" thing, I'm very arrogant these days. It's because there are so many feeling-oriented people around. The fact that people dote on the flash-in-the-pan crap until something new comes along is really frustrating.

I would still be more INTP if not for my disappointment in other people's opinion. Oop, there I got again, being arrogant, but a lot of people aren't really analyzing all of the details on a topic... they just go with their current thought on something as their entire opinion.

INFJ
Introvert(89%) iNtuitive(25%) Feeling(12%) Judging(44%)

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%)
You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

It's not the the skill set I PnP with but I did this test four trimes and the results aren't changing that much.

I got ISTJ with 56%, 62%, 25%, and 11%. So that makes me Spock.

Well that was fun, now to move on with my day and forget this by morning.

INFP

Introvert(11%) iNtuitive(12%) Feeling(25%) Perceiving(56)%

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (11%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%)
You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (56%)

Not straying too far from escapist norm it seems.

I've taken these kinds of tests numerous times, and I always get INTJ

Introvert(44%) iNtuitive(38%) Thinking(62%) Judging(22%)

It's actually kind of perfect for the kind of job I want to do, though I could probably use a bit more empathy.

Let's see i am Introverted(73%) iNtuitive(76%) Thinking(51%) and Judging/Perceiving(50%). Although i doubt i'm like house or i spend that much time on the internet

weird those test usually come out with me as a sensing rather than a thinking though its very close this one put me in thinking quite sodidlty and judging is far more weight to it than this one usually also anyway i got INTJ too

INTJ
Introvert(78%) iNtuitive(75%) Thinking(88%) Judging(33%)

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%)
You have distinctive preference of Intuition over Sensing (75%)
You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (88%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (33%)

ISTP

Introvert(89%) Sensing(62%) Thinking(12%) Perceiving(11)%
•You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
•You have distinctive preference of Sensing over Intuition (62%)
•You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
•You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (11%)

I guess it's moderately accurate. I know the introversion over extroversion is correct at any rate...

ISTP by nature but a heavy work environment into ISTJ.

ISTJ
Introvert(56%) Sensing(25%) Thinking(50%) Judging(78%)

You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (25%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (50%)
You have strong preference of Judging over Perceiving (78%)

So, I'm basically Spock. Hell, I could have told you that.

ENFP.

The apparent Bioware protagonist, I am evidently good at making friends with literally everybody, and coming up with insane solutions to insaner problems.

That's cool.

They always gave us these things in school & every year I got something completely different.

For me the test was a long string of questions that could either be interpreted in different ways or I had no idea what the flying hell the questions were trying to ask me. In others I was indifferent & neither yes nor no seemed right. The questions also don't take being in a good or bad mood into consideration. Another issue I have with the test is that I'm forced to replace "emotions" with "opinions" since I don't have any squishy feelings.

Today, I get ISTP: Introvert(22%) Sensing(1%) Thinking(75%) Perceiving(11)%

If I were to retake the test in a week or even tomorrow, I would not get the same thing.

Wait, I got the same thing as Naruto? I can't stand that little f**ker.

Well, my time socializing on internet forums for years on end has transformed me from a quiet secretive naive antisocial child-like person into a loud blunt digitally-social bitter nostolgiac with no shits to give & needs to be entertained at all times.

INFJ, though I think at a younger age I was leaning more towards INTJ.

I like to think of my "personality type" as this: I want to do the best for people and will always put on a friendly face... But if I ever come across someone who gets their jollies out of hurting or bullying others, I'm already thinking of the many schemes to make them regret their life choices.

tricky-crazy:
ENFJ

Extravert 11%
Intuitive 75%
Feeling 50%
Judging 56%

I'm surprised I'm the only one here. Oh well :)

Fret not, tricky-crazy, for I am also ENFJ.

My results were as followed:

You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (44%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (56%)

It's funny, I was also wondering who else was ENFJ and it wasn't until I got to this page that a found a fellow ENFJ. The image for ENFJ had me worried for a bit, but now I feel that it describes me fairly accurately.

I got INTJ. I am not really sure how accurate that is exactly. I know I am extreme introvert but besides that I don't really know if I identify with the rest of what I got.

INTJ
Introvert(100%) iNtuitive(50%) Thinking(88%) Judging(44%)
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (100%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)
You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (88%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

ISFP
Introvert(78%) Sensing(38%) Feeling(50%) Perceiving(33)%
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (38%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (50%)
You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (33%)

No idea who that is in that picture
