What do you do when procrastinating?

So last night I had to write a speech for a test today (It's done now, I think I passed), and, as with most people, I procrastinated for a good while, and finished writing it at 02:00 am.

What always happens to me when I procrastinate is that I suddenly find nearly every video on youtube either really fascination or laugh-out-loud hilarious. The worst part though was when "Down the Road" by C2C started playing in my playlist, and I had to stop writing to jam out a bit to the tunes.

So how's it going for you when things like these occur?

I always end up on The Escapist and Imgur.
In fact, I'm doing it right now.
I'm actully at my internship in the archives working on a collection, well, I was working on it.

I browse this website.
I actually don't procrastinate as bad as some other people, at least not 3 AM on the day it's due bad.
I'll put things off, but I usually save enough time to get it done before there's a danger of not finishing.

Unless I'm not getting paid for it, then the work never gets finished.

The internet is for porn. Take a guess. Either that or I game a bit.

Browse the escapist or YouTube. Kindof like right now.

I endlessly toggle between Gaming Discussion and Offtopic whilst listening to music and / or playing something on a console. The worst is when I'm procrastinating and my friends are online and we can't really be bothered to do much so we end up watching strange or stupid videos on youtube.

Pretty much refresh the forum pages on here for any new threads or comment made and also just listenning to a few music on Youtube.

good fucking tune choice, i jam out to that as well.

OT: I usually find a tv show online that i haven't watched yet or something and go "oh i'll just check out one episode, then do *this amount of homework* before watching another"

*5 episodes later*

"fuckk it's 3 a.m., and that homework is due at 7, better start."

I've probably racked up more all nighters than all of my engineering cohorts combined from my procrastination.

i demand sources to back up your claims!

Depends. If I'm alone and procrastinating, I either go on a deep-cleaning spree throughout the house, or, if it's nice weather, go for a walk or bike ride. If there are people about I either spend hours pouring over the forums/sites I'm a member of/frequent, or put on a film and dive into a book. I get so much stick from my housemates for that last one. Apparently it's impossible to both read and watch something and manage to take everything in...

And sometimes, depending on what I'm refraining from doing at the present moment, I'll actually do uni work.

Well, what do you think I am doing here right now? DX

Escapist, why you enable me?

Or tell myself that I would get up and do the thing right now but the cat just fell asleep on my lap and it'd be cruel to disturb her.

Edit: the cat has now stood up. I can do things now!

...or I can play Minecraft.

Conversely, when I procrastinate, I write... I've gotten pretty good at writing old fashioned dramatic speeches and monologues using eighteenth century vocabulary and grammar, and 'tis a great pity such a skill is useless these days... -.-

At home, it's always the escapist, Civilization III, or maybe a bit of Halo Reach.

At work, I try and be productive with my procrastination...I read a load of documents & get a general feel of what everyone else is doing. I suppose it's slightly better than just wasting time on the internet.

I browse, read, play video games (Mass Effect, the Halo series, anything else that floats my boat at the time),"browse", navigate various forums, and generally find all kinds of other activities to occupy my time instead of what I should be doing. Thankfully college has been long over for me, so work (which I enjoy) and chores are my actually useful activities.
