Muckraker Posts: 226 Joined: 22 Feb 2008 | I read Escapist for games as most Xbox 360 magazine are £5 upwards. I read Kerrang! for music and also buy Nuts magazine. I can't believe it's a page and a half and no one admits to porn magazines! Well, I will admit it with pride! |

Was wondering when someone was gonna mention this. Goddamnit, this was the best games publication of its time. RIP Fu-SoYa. I'm considering a subscription to gamesTM, the only reviewers I trust besides the Consolevania boys. Oh, you havenae heard of 'em? I think I'll make a thread. I used to read Edge, until I realised how bloated and up its own arse it is. Their graphic designers do a good job, though. |

Last one I remember falling to this was APG , a paintball magazine, the in the last issue I read had a long editorial rant about responsible advertising the the last 10 pages of the issue were scantily clad women shilling gear. Irony I can handle but that was a little much, when 70% of the pages were ad. |

Press Junketeer Posts: 386 Joined: 5 Mar 2008 | When I'm in a waiting room somewhere I'll read McLeans and TIME. I love everything in them, but I've never actually bought them. I have a huge stack of National Geographics that I love to flip through, but again, I don't buy them. The only magazines I get semi-regularly are EVO and Top Gear. There's something about sitting on the toilet reading all about awesome cars I'll never own. They're expensive magazines (in Canada), but I enjoy them a lot more than most of the regional car mags. |
