We all love video games, but what other games do you like to play that don't involve a monitor?

I like Euchre, Hearts, Chess, Monopoly, Clue and Darts.

Airsoft was pretty fun (if you count it as a game)...many people in my area don't play it though, and the last true battle we had ended terribly: teamates shot each other in the back, everyone got into arguments, and it finally ended when we just began to pin each other to the ground and shoot each other in the face.

Speed is a fun card game, along with a few board games.

Games I like now:

Texas Hold'em. Once you play Texas Hold'em poker, there's no reason to play any other type of poker, it's simply the best.

Trivial Pursuit. Not the old ones or the Canadian Editions (hint: every answer is John Diefenbaker). The new ones like Pop Culture are really fun.

Battleship. Ahh... The patrol boat.

Games I used to like:

Risk was the best thing ever, then I played with my sisters. Pieces were swatted and no one talked for the rest of the day.

Monopoly: same thing.

Games I wish I could play:

Chess. It's such a neat game, but there's never anyone who wants to play it, and anytime I play an electronic version it ends in a stalemate and I still don't know why.

Go. I like the pieces and the history of the game, but I get my ass handed to me anytime I play it.

Risk 100%

It's what I play when the power is out and I'm not crouching in a corner with a flashlight expecting th next shadow to try and eat my soul. What, It happened once when I watched Blair Witch Project, The Messengers, and Signs in a row. Don't ask.

I love airsoft, but games always end with an argument over the rules. I have a G36C and the battery sucks.

Diplomacy anyone? That game is awsome. Back stabbing and making alliances.

Though alltime favorite is risk

Risk was good, but I have no one to play with...so I played the version that required the monitor.

Has anyone played Apples to Apples? Possibly the most retarded card game with the most diverse set of rules. But funny.

Signal, my favourite card game.
Texas Hold 'Em, as it allows me to be a total bad ass.
Pictionary, as it is one of the funnest games ever.
And of course D&D, which tops the list.

Oh, and table tennis.

I forgot about airsoft. I love that one to, just can't play it as often as I like to. Me and my friends use to fight about whether someone got hit or not. I would just spot welts on people who say they didn't get hit. We don't BS so much anymore.

I also love paintball when we play. What I mean is, equipment is expensive and most of our time is spent fixing the damn things rather than using them.

While it takes more than aliens and fake monsters to scare me, I do agree with the Risk part. My other favorite game is Fifty Points if you Hit The Ron. They used to call me "The Intangable", I was so good at that game.

To anyone offended: go f***ck yourselves.

Am I the only one that plays Pitch? I'm from upstate NY and we used to play rounds and rounds of Pitch. It's sort of like spades.

YAY Zombies! I'm glad someone else has played this awesome game. Two hour long sessions where the first hour is building the board and getting to the end and the other is screwing each-other over at the heli pad was great fun. Kinda like Magic with all the shafting each other.
I used to play Magic too obviously. Though I stopped when I couldn't support all my hobbies financially.
Which include Warhammer Fantasy and 40k.
D&D and Vampire have also been favorites in my group.
I'd like to try Talisman and that new one, Tannhauser too.

I love scrabble! The problem is that the only people I have to play with that are willing to play are both English majors. One is also a lawyer so knows all sorts of obscure words I have only heard once or twice in my whole life.

P.S. Getting mocked by a person who holds both an English and law degree is really painful... and sometimes confusing.

Manhunt. And not the crappy video game Rockstar released.

This game is like a more desperate hide and seek, where a team of people hunts one person in a large area, like a forest or a park. It never goes into violence of course, but it is fun for hardened people. I like playing at night time, you hand the hunters white clothing and torches and the hiders black clothing and a smaller light source. Hold the runner still and then you've won.

I guess no ones played it..have they?

Cock slap, It's a game you play when you're drunk. Not my favourite, but one of. Pretty much you slap your cock against a fence until you can't do it anymore. The more electric the better.

Also, Linksies. If you have MSN you need to try it with a friend. You find the most horrible websites you can and send it to each other over via a link, the one who vomits or quits first is the looser. This is an original game made within a small group of my friends. Use it at your will, but credit our brilliance by simply saying, "This game was made by the gods" That way we know we are spreading into you.
