I think if WoW ever fully died, I think they should make the last of it a movie.

Devil May Cry. And actually make it better than the crock of shit that was DMC4. Heck I would even be happy if they made DMC5 a full feature length movie, not a videogame, and it would have to have Peter Jackson directing it, that way it wouldn't be a fuck up and did I make even an ounce of sense with what I just said? Probably not.

Honestly, I don't want any more games made into movies, not just because they generally suck, but because Hollywood would likely want to have the movie made with their image in mind, and not the original designers' image.

However, if done just right, I would like to see a cartoon series based on the Windwaker, and by "done just right," I mean "as long as Nintendo heavily supervised the project so that we don't get another cartoon of Donkey Kong or Kirby:Right Back at ya! crappiness."

I know that its "in the making" but I want to see the Gears of War movie. The only problem is it'll either suck or make me appretiate Gears of War A LOT more.

Actually, when he approached Blizzard about rights to WoW, they told him they wouldn't sell the rights "to you. Especially not to you." So there is hope yet.

Not really. That just means that someone at Blizzard wasn't blitzed when they watched Bloodrayne, Alone in the Dark, etc.

Actually, blitzed is the only way to truly appreciate a Uwe Boll movie...lol...Tara Reid with a master's degree...

Diablo. Some friends and I talked about it years back. The books are great, so if they based it one of those or the first game it could be really cool. If they got someone competent to do it.

If you would have asked me a few years ago what game I wanted turned into a movie, I would have said Silent Hill without a moment's hesistation. But somehow the movie managed to f*** up what is possibly the greatest storyline and atmosphere in movie history. Still, they're making a second one, and although I know it's probably going to suck, there's a little bit of me that really thinks it will be just like Silent Hill 2 and rock hardcore.

Uwe Boll serves (served) an important place in Videogame Movie Making, he made Game Developers careful about who they sell their movie rights too.

Something I saw in a Penny Arcade comic a while back- Tetris as a disaster movie.

2010... The world has become subject to a game of the Gods. Massive Tetrads continue to fall into place from the sky above, smashing buildings or whatever else is unfortunate enough to be caught beneath them. One man searches for the truth- what does any of it have to do with a top-secret experiment conducted by the clandestine Dr. Pajintov in the Soviet Union 30 years ago? Until then, we can only pray for complete lines.

I second a 40K movie but it would require an immense budget to do justice to the universe. You tube has some low budget 40K videos. They make me want to cry tears of blood. An RTS movie would be nice to see. Star Craft would be the obvious choice. Blizzard cinematics have always been top notch. If their animation department put out a 1.5 hour cut scene I would pay to see it.

Starcraft, if you MADE SURE to include the whole Protoss/Zerg backstory and the Mythos behind the universe would be awesome. It'd be like Starship Troopers or Aliens with a deep Space Opera story behind it. Would need to be a trilogy though.

when blizzard releases a movie the money grabbing apoocalypse is nigh (WoW has 9 million players in europe yet still they need £9 per player per month. thats around £32 per second btw and this excludes american players) yea bit off topic but that fact scares me
theres not really any games id like to see as a movie since theyre always pretty bad and often they can means some people who could work on another game of a series have to divert their time to a movie

KOTOR would be pretty cool, but probably not as a movie but rather as a show or mini-series.

Definitely Halo even though they already tried to I think it would be good or at least watchable.
