hmm that's a tough one.

i think i'd name a dreadnought-class starship the SS PrickTorch. it would have a drill weapon that pierces hulls and then dispenses fire. lots of fire.

and i'd name a nautical vessel the HMS Dirty Harry. it would be just a floating revolver with a single sail and rudder.

I would call my ship "Fist of the Heavens" it would be a saucer shaped orbital bombardment platform visible from the ground when it is in low orbit. Pained on the bottom of the ship would be a big yellow smily face. The eyes would each have some sort of continous beam weapon and the mouth would be filled with gound/bunker penetrating kenetic weapons.

Actually, I have no idea. I just use caps or quotes. I know I misused "nautical" but I realized it after I started this thread and people began replying. Yes, I know it's a bit confusing, sorry. No, I'm not going to change it, because editing a post with anything other than an addendum is lame. Except maybe for spelling errors.

Nautical would be "Dodgson"... And It's funny this got brought up as I've always wanted a boat.

Interstellar would be "The Misanthrope" A Pirate ship with a slightly ironic name if you think too much about it

Hmm... One of two things.

A gigantic spaceship. A 1800 meter long super-drednaught that is silver, bulky at the rear end, has four wings and more firepower than most third-world countries. It would be called something short, easy to remember but somewhat intimidating, like The Immortal.

But for an avrage persons spaceship, It would be about twenty or thiryt meters long, be rarther slender and have a large docking hanger type thing on one side. The other side would have two wings petruding out in a V shape like a gigantic two fingers to anyone who thinks about double parking me! It would be named The Oberon, aftar my house.

Mine would be a massive starship called The Doom or something along the lines of that.
Anyhoo.... It would be filled with all the best weapons, and I would be able to strike fear into everyone one who sees it, and then I would go around the universe destroying all who oppose me!!!!!

I've thought about this alot you see....

If I'll ever get my own Super Star Destroyer, it would be named "PHALLIC VICTORY."

I've always wanted a high-tech, luxurious catamaran. It would be called the Atlantis Hat, for no reason other than to confuse people.

As for a spaceship, I would like a small, fast, and comfortable exploration vessel that I could tool around the galaxy in to take in the sights. It would have excellent stealth systems so I can watch epic space battles without being fired upon, a full bar and entertainment center, some small weapons so I can defend myself from local wildlife while exploring, and a respectable library. It would be called the Cabesa de Vaca (anyone get the reference?).

Hmmm...Rear Admiral Mal of the 'Genocidal Circus Midget'. My groovy spacecraft with a main gun large enough to reduce a large planet to a packet of crisps or (if fully charged) a copy of 'Brokeback mountain'. While I'm letting my imagination out for a tick, besides the main gun it would have 260 different weapons ranging from black powder cannons to laser pens, a crew of 12 people (including myself) and go faster stripes.

i'd have a small 7-man light-gunship-frieghter with a cannon that shoots a bolt of lightning, with several small rapid fire lasers on the sides, and it will have a hyperdrive for a quick ecsape and it will conicidentally be called "The Lightning" and every time we have to get on it Ill say "Let's Ride the Lightning!!" (u will get cookies if u figure out this referance)

Nautical = The Bleeding Wraith (My fearsome royal sloop on Sid Meier's Pirates! Screw you spain!)

Spacecraft (Silly) = The HMS Up-Yours-Einstein, capable of Faster than Light travel.
Spacecraft (Also silly but not as silly as the above) = The HMS Camilla, crewed by quadruple amputee's and armed with a single laser cannon that's pointed the wrong way.
Spacecraft Again (I'm incapable of thinking up anything serious, sorry.) The SS Bruce Campbell - Indestructable.
