Less new in the fact I've been watching Zero Punctuation for... six... months? I got linked to him by a friend and just think the site is awesome. Also love watching Videogame theater and Drawn by Pain. I'm 22, female (OMG!!) and I live in far north queensland in Australia. It is presently not raining (considering we were at flooding point yesterday - fun) and I have a throat infection after two weeks of pain from wisdom teeth removal... ok now I'm ranting. I lurked for awhile, mostly just watching ZP and reading the articles but then I decided to start posting because I wanted to say something about...something, it's been awhile so I can't remember what my first post was. Anyway, what else can I say about myself... I'm a Canadian from Canadia, I'm a Traditional RPG advocate and ocasional bulldog, I really love Steampunk and Pulp Adventure and I have yet to be banned or put on probation. Other than that all I can say is that I'm a 24 year old university graduate who sold his soul to the oil industry for a decent paycheck and benefits. I'm also (apparently) doing my best to look like Yahtzee, as I've been wearing a trillby and growing a beard, soon I'll find him, kill him and replace him... probably shouldn't have spilled my plan should I... probably not. |

The main reason I joined these forums is to plug Dominions 3 (without being labeled a spammer of course), hopefully getting enough people talking about it to prompt a review from Yatzee (which will in effect plug it even more). I'm neutral about most things video game, so opine away with me. Politically (because everything online is politics, porn, or publishing, exactly as Ben Franklin intended), I'm (if I may use US terminology) left-center and disgusted by the extremes on *both* wings. My big political interest (if you can call it that) is physically transformative enhancement technologies (If anyone can think up a concise term that doesn't have the stigma that "transhuman"does, I'd love to read it.) I'm not particularly active, however, and won't be until the big names in transhumanism get out of the ivory tower. Two lean & meaty paragraphs, each with a plug. I think that's a good start. (Edited, for the mods don't like links. Not a problem.) |

I'm Hannah, I'm from England and I'm a student in Computer Games Design (just finished my first year). I'm into drawing/digital painting, music and games, of course. It's nice to see a forum that has some real discussion going on, not just pages of flaming and lolcats. P.S. I enjoy long, romantic walks on the beach etc. |
