Bad Idea on the Zombie Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln was one of the worst presidents of all time. He suspended free speech, and any newspaper that wrote ill of him would be burned down and everyone was imprsoned. During Lincolns reign of terror, you could be imprisoned. Yes, YOU! He didn't need a reason, he could just chuck people in jail as he pleased. He also signed the Immancipation Proclimation, one of the most overhyped documents in history. What it did exactly was this: Freed the slaves in the non-union states. This would mean slavery was OK in Kentucky and Maryland. A modern day equivalent would be America outlawing somthing in England. It wouldnt be considered a real law. I would say that Jefferson Davis was a better president than he was. |

While I would agree with you, especially about Obama (seriously, what the fuck do people want him for? Give me one reason you think he'd be good and don't say 'he isn't bush' or 'he isn't mccain'), it's really not an either or situation. This is America, any American thirty five or older, born in the country, and not a convicted felon, can be our president. It's only an either or situation if you tell yourself it is. |
