I'm young so my life hasn't gone shit (yet) so mine was when i was seven and playing with these kids on the opposing team (soccer) on a jungle gym near the field, and one of them jumped off this ledge about half a metre up onto my fingers and threw rocks at my face. Asshole.

The fact that mosh pits are illegal out here never crossed any minds of course ;)

Unfair... probably coincides with most painful. Fire + Poker + Gits Feet.

i got a ticket for something, the cop made fun of me as he walked away, and i told him he didnt have to be an asshole, so he pulled me out of the car, put me in handcuffs and towed my car. Had me sitting in his cruiser for an hour, about thirty feet from work. Then he wouldnt let me walk to work, had to drive me to the front of the building in handcuffs and make me do the paper work while everyone watched.

I was stabbed once. With a pencil.

I'm not upset because I was stabbed but because that is such a lame thing to be stabbed by. I lost all street credibility on that fatal day.

Well, growing up my Dad was in the Army (still is, but we are staying in SC now since he started working for the National Guard). So, he moved every two years on average, and I went every place he went. This meant having to move all of my life, leave friends behind, not get to know any place, having no place to call home, not even knowing if my childhood friends are even alive (until I discovered facebook, and come to find out, one of them isn't), etc. I carry alot of weight from that upbringing, and while I got to see more of the world than most people ever will in their lives, it still means that I am, and probably always will be basically a nomad the rest of my life with no home. And now I also have that feeling that "I just don't belong" anywhere I go.

But I did get to see Germany and my people skills are atleast very good. I learned how to make friends very quickly, and I gained various talents and interests from that. However, I don't think I am really anyone's best friend. I'm not the guy that "oh, I've known him since I was a kid, we're best pals", and I never, ever will be. And I don't have that either. And this is a fact I'm going to have to live with that fact forever.

Also watching my grandmother die slowly of cancer in my home for about a year, and holding her hand on her death bed when she took her last breath. Considering she acted as my third parent when my father was gone to the field for months at a time, I was very attached to her. It was rough, but it sparked me becoming a more spiritual person in turn, and converting to Buddhism not long afterwards.

Yep... unfair. But I've gotten over that I like to think.

How deep, if a little stab then as long as you punched the guy then your fine, or if deep then you lost no street cred, but you should've still punched him.

Yeah unless my memory is serving me wrong again. Remember those deaths at big day out a few years ago? Laws were passed then unless I'm completely out of it. I was living in my home state of NSW at the time so maybe it's just there. Not that it affects me now, I'm into proper metal (none of this RaTM crap ;) so all my concerts are in smoky pubs on back streets.

They're fun but people keep getting stomped to death so they're trying to get rid of them.

It wasn't very deep, maybe only up to the end of the cone shape.

I didn't punch the guy. He stabbed me in the hand and when a pencil is sticking out of your hand the first instinct is not to make a fist and punch someone. Later he said it was an accident and I beleived him and let it go. Good mates untill I was eleven and had to move town.

That's odd. I've yet to see any evidence of people trying to stop pits, and I live just south of Sydney. They'd fail. Hard.

Yeah I just went googling to see if I could dig up the law but no luck, so I guess it was just some induced hallucination at some point (or just a BS rundown at the back of some random concert).

Thank fuck. I don't want further reason to have police coming after me. Student activism is enough.

Another unfair moment was me getting pinned for speeding when it wasn't me or my car.

This leads to my point of: there are two types of "criminals", those who get noticed by the police, and those awesome enough to fly under the radar. Learning to be the second one makes for some of the best faders after a concert you'll ever pull.

Look, officer. First of all, even though I APPEAR to be driving in the front seat, let me tell you that my passed out friend in the back was working the pedals, I was just steering. Secondly, this isn't even my car, so I declare no countsies, because if I commit a crime in someone else's car, it's that person's own fault, not mine. I'll be on my way now.

haha funny how this thread has turned into a rant on how mosspits are illegal.

Well the only unfair thing in my life i can think of was just plain bad luck which is only unfair because i was 14 at the time. I fell deadly ill from a strepococcal infection in my left foot, within a day i was dying and was rushed to hospital, spent 10 days in intensive care, and had to have half my left foot amputated.

The most unfair and ironic part is that i got sick on the day of the readers cup! the only reason my team got to the finals was because of me so imagine how mad they were when i didn't turn up. Funnily enough on the night i got sick i apparently became dilerious and my parents found me upstairs trying to get dressed into my school uniform and mumbling about how the team needed me.

When I was like 6 or 8 I saved up and saved up to get a remote control airplane. It was like $60/$70 CAD or something, which when your 6 is an ASSLOAD of money. So I finally got the thing, and guess what, the propeller went around once (after I'd charged it for 4 grueling hours)...

I took it back and was just gonna exchange it for another one. But oh, another surprise! The thing was discontinued. The lady behind the counter called the warehouse and they were all out, everywhere. To the stores credit though, the lady seriously almost cried, so at least she tried her best.

So at 6/8, with $60-some dollars and no remote controlled airplane, I did what anyone would do at 6-8 in that situation. I went on a candy binge and suppressed the memory as best I could...

God DAMNIT it was an awesome little plane too! I'm still bitter about that.

When girls can look past many visual faults in a guy, meanwhile it is part of a guy's psyche to seek out the hottest chick in the room and flock to her.

Oh yeah, and that three years ago, my dad came out as a transgender, so then in order to get his operation, he became essentially a selfish teenage girl, which led to my mom divorcing him, dating a guy that got her on crack, losing her job, and is now dating another bum who won't get a fucking job. I never learned to drive, I had to learn secondhand from my brother whenever he wasn't working. I just got my first car, but haven't been able to drive it since my brother, my mom, and my mom's boyfriend [both trying to get clean now] are always using it.

Meanwhile, dad bitches to me about money all the time, despite the fact I JUST got my first job and I'm trying to save money to get as FAR away from all of them as I can after college.

Pretty much the last two or three months if I'm to pull out the most recent. I swear I have never seen such horrendous luck becme so consistent in my life. Everything that could go wrong has managed to somehow do just that. Furthermore continued delays with business delays and having to move into a shitty apartment with no cable (by choice), lost Internet for nearly a month, ridiculously tight money circumstances (hell still don't have a fringe although that is somewhat by choice as well) and using a couch for a bed still (initially by choice, now it is necessary), car broke down to make matters even worse and ugh... yeah this summer has been hell. Two years running my summers have sucked but it shall not be three god dammit!

Gat: Old slang, meanging gun. Came from shortening Gattling gun to just gat. Was used during the prohibition era to name any gun, but specifically the thompson submachine gun, aka The Tommy Gun.

Gotta love urbandictionary.

I knew that, but I doubt that's what he was talking about.
