Strangest weapon ive used in a game is a frying pan. there were some wierd weapons in thr South Park game on the N64 (a chicken sniper rifle that shoots eggs, dolls that explode fart gas to name a few) but the frying pan on Phantasy Star Online is a classic

For RL I'd say the impromptu flamethrower from the cockroach thread.
In a game it'd be the PSP in SMOD for Half-Life 2.

quack o' ray still the wierdest, IMO, because it turns enemies into duck.plus if you upgrade it enough, 1 duck randomly turns into a demon duck that flies aroud the room, dropping eggs o' doom upon your enemies

In a vidya game, it'd have to be Nightmare's unlockable giant squid sword.

In real life, well, I don't use weapons. I use my hands and feet, and occasionally my head.

I think on Soul Calibur 4 there was a weapon for Cervantes which was dual kebab's. His short sword and longsword would be a short kebab and a long kebab. I laughed when I saw it, but I never used it.

In the Gamecube game Geist, you played as a ghost, and possessed soldiers in order to fight. In multiplayer you could possess a towel girl who whips players with a wet towel.

It was an instant kill.

In the first Rayman: Raving Rabbids, I seem to remember a level where you used a water pistol filled with carrot juice to fill the diving masks of the rabbids, presumably drowning them. Not so much a weird weapon as a weird way of using it.

Looking forward to the upcoming Timesplitters, though, apparently there's a ninja-firing tank made of lava, crewed by pirates. That's going to be worth seeing.

OK, you know those spears/harpoon things lying around in sandtraps in Half Life 2? They are the most powerful weapon in the game. Anything, and I mean anything is killed by it in one hit, friendlies too.

Many weapons from Armed and Dangerous, hands down.

In morrowind I once weilded a human leg. Well a Nordic leg to be exact. But the Nords are basically human. I found it on a werewolf. Best weapon ever.

Probably the next weirdest was in Oblivion, the Goblin Shaman staff is a Goblin head on a stick. Or the dagger of friendship, which restores health on strike.

The Fork of Horripilation, I believe it was called. It was a pretty sweet weapon, if you take away the stunted Magicka.
