Which one would you have?
I'd take flight any day it would make my way of getting around a lot more enjoyable not to mention cheaper.

EDIT: Ok, so I've read a lot of these and some of you think of this stuff way too much which is actually kind of amusing. I'm mean think about it if you could fly(without a plane I mean), than the laws of physics truly do not apply to anything else so you could travel at mach whatever and your neck won't snap or you won't freeze to death or whatever else may apply. And as for invisibilty...well hell most of you said you'll steal with it or be a peeping tom with it so hey we all know now who not to give the invisibility cloak to ;)

It's hard to decide. Flightl would be nice, but so would invisibility.

Hmm... I'd rather be able to read people's minds to spy than simply be invisible, actually. WAY better information.

And of course, if you are going to be a perv, you could always look inside somebody's mind for a while. ;)

Flying, I'm no pervert. Well, not exceptionally so.

EDIT: To the guy above me- Man, that's just wrong on so many levels. Your mind should be your own. It's way, way worse than the invisibility they were talking about. Your body's just your body, but your mind is YOU. It's like... rape or something to be able to read it that clearly.

Depends. If invisibility affects the things I touch (clothes, etc.) and it's controllable, then great.

But if otherwise, I will go for flying.

If light passes through your entire body you'd be blind.

Really the idea of being transparent or the light bending forcefield seems unworkable. In both cases you retinas would be invisible and you wouldn't be able to see. I think the best solution came from a David Eddings book. The You can't see me field. Basically a psychic command to everyone around you to not notice your existence. Thus this would even negate sound as your just forcing everyone else to ignore you.

I could say i'd pick invisibility but it could have all sorts of unnessecary complications like nit effecting clothes,not being controlable but since you said "flight" and only "flight" that would lead me to assume that there's a catch. eg:i spontanaousley grow wings(that would be cool)or i have to fly in the terrible irish weather that i'm living in.

Because it has less strings attached i'd pick flight.Even if people could see me robbong a bank,they couldn't catch me.

Invisibility would be fun, like pulling pranks and stuff but i'd have to go with flight because it would be fun and pretty cool.

Invisibility. Sure, flight sounds good, but you'll have to wear snow gear if you don't want to freeze to death and there's the ever-present danger of getting sucked into plane turbines or being mistaken for enemy cruise missiles.

Invisibility, if its controllable because you can just stow away on a helicopter/plane thats going to were you want to go. But if its not controllable then flight.

Also can I point out people have been looking to far into this, jacobschndr just meant like superheroes in comics/films that can do it without an explanation other then, alien, bit by spider, fell in chemicals, etc.

Flight? what is this 1903 Mr. Orville Wright? I fly all the time, no I'll have me some invisibility. Just think of the perks of driving anywhere like the car was driving itself.

but when it comes down to it, being able to fly.. eventually you have to land and pay taxes.

If it was like that then I would chose invisibility otherwise I chose flight...

I think you're forgetting the age-old answer to such problems. "A Wizard did it." Obeying the laws of physics is not a pre-requisite. :D

Flight has always been my greater fantasy, especially increased thanks to the Maximum Ride series.

Invisibility would be nice for sex and money stealing, but flight could get you both legally. There are surely some women who want to have sex several hundred metres in the air suspended only by a guy with wings. ^_^

Flight, so I can scare the local township.

Flight, mainly because of the immense convenience it would provide. However, I'd have to be able to fly at a fairly high speed. If my top flying speed would be 25 mph, I'd have to go with invisibility.
