First, visit this link: http://www.joshhosler.biz/NumberOneInHistory/SelectMonth.htm

Fill in the month and day of your birthday, then look up the year to get the song that was #1 on the Billboard charts the day you were born.

"(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" by Bryan Adams.

Neat. I love his song "Summer of '69," but I'd never heard anything else by him.

aparantly "We Are The World" by USA for Africa, whatever that was.

A week before hand it was was "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)" which, to be fair, is amazing and would have been good cause to put my mum into labour.

according to the link in the OP, its "In the Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus)" by Zager & Evans.

It's a song that's very not about taking Ecstasy.

It'd make you minus 517 years old if it's AD, 4533 years old if BC.

"Jump" by Van Halen.

If only i was born a year earlier, then i would've had "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson.

I suggest you check it out, it may not quite be what you youngsters are into today, but its at least worth it to listen to the lyrics and try to work out how on earth they got away with it while the tabloids and government at the time were screaming that E would bring about the end of civilisation.
