Well, the title pretty much explains it all. What would life be like without the Escapist? What other internet forum would you go to? What website would you go to see funny video reviews? Would Yatzhee still be stuck o YouTube? Or would he just continue with his own personal website? What do you think?

Yahtzee would either have gone to another site or he would have stopped as he needs to make money and he can't do that making random videos for youtube.

The internet would become a darker, quieter place...and dumber.

Life would be normal, I would have never heard of Atlas Shrugged, I would be slightly less picky about my own English, and most of all, I would never have talked to Larenxis, Galt, Morbius, Necroswanson, Sorrow, Pie, Nil, Wilson, Anarchimesit, my fingers would cramp if I tried to type all the names in.

Well for one thing Yahtzee would still be treading through the wastes of youtube.
I also have a sneaking suspicion (since I'm a Ninja, all my suspicions are sneaky) that Halo 3 would be widely regarded as the best game ever by pretty much everyone, no one would be playing Psyconauts and people would still be watching ask a Ninja.

I would sleep more, watch more tv, write less, type slower, be more punctual, and feel a little less good about myself. Overall, the idea of The Escapist just closing down without warning and never returning is a horrifying thought, mostly because of the loss of great friends.

On topic: I would have almost nothing else to do with myself, these are the only forums I tust and like. My attention span is kinda short yet the escapist holds it for hours.

I would just spend more time on the Bethesda forums, Youtube and general googleing. Surely I will find something else.

If there was no escapist then their sister site, warcry wold get double the people going to it.
