Naps. I can think of more productive ways to spend my time, but taking a nice long nap in the middle of the day can be one of the best feelings ever. Sometimes I feel like a child when I tell someone I'm taking a nap, but who hasn't wanted to go back to the time in their life when you could just go to sleep wherever and whenever you want?

Whenever I get a headache or feel ill I always have them.

I'm immune to napping. I can't nap unless I only slept about two hours the previous night. I would if I could.

It's funny when people say things like "People waste a third of their life sleeping!" Because in all seriousness I really enjoy sleeping. Sleeping feels awesome. Especially stretching right after you wake up. Naps are totally not a waste of time.

I RARELY nap. I haven't had to in months, but there are times when I have to, to make it through the day.

I love the occasional nap. When I need to catch up on sleep, or when I'm bored. They help prepare for a night out as well.

Naps are awesome. Sure, it completely screws up my sleep clock for the next week, but I love the feeling of waking up after a nap. :D

i never have time to naps... and im gonna tell you a secret... today here at work i was su F#*^n tired i went to the bathroom lock the door and ... i take the shortest nap ever... because i have things to do.... :(

Uni is great.
Stay up late, crawl out of bed for a lecture, go back to sleep, get up to go out late again.

It's not the most responsible sleeping pattern, but it gives a lot of flexibility for napping.

Harsh Milo, still a lot of powerful, successful people swear by the 15 minute power nap!

I have too much stuff to do, but the occasional nap is nice.

I don't like to nap, I would rather just stay awake and get a decent sleep that night, unless I'm sick or totally exhausted and I 'nap' because I cant stay awake any longer.

The worst is the unexpected nap where you wake up on the sofa 4 hours later like "oh what the tv show ended already?...oh wait its 6pm" then you don't sleep untill about 3am that night.

I could use one right now ;)

It's not as much school time as nap time for me.

Same with me. Under normal circumstances though, no because then I'd lose precious game time.

I wake up perfectly happy and energized at 6am and go until 10pm. Don't need a nap at'all.

Power naps are amazing for your brain and thought as well, Einstein himself was a huge fan of taking power naps, So was Thomas Edison.

I wish I could take naps since I'm always tired from waking up early, unfortunately I'm too busy doing the things I woke up early for.

In all honesty, I had a day where I went to sleep at 1:00 AM, slept until 12:00, ate lunch, took a nap until 6:00, ate dinner, and then played games until about 11:00, when I went to sleep again.

Can't nap. If I doze off for short durations, I wake up twice as tired, with muscle aches and vertigo. I'm one of those people who if I can't get at least 5 hours of sleep between when I finally go to bed and when I have to be up for work, either I stay up instead of trying to sleep, or if I try, I'll end up sleeping right through my alarm.

Speaking of staying up instead of sleeping, I actually have to make a concerted effort to go to sleep at night. I have to lay in bed for about a half hour before I will finally doze off. Naps, on the other hand, I just close my eyes and I'm out like a light. I find that I get a more restful sleep during the day than at night.

I generally have to be ill before I find myself napping. That said, naps are awesome. Got home from work early one day (I had a Piriton-related incident) and napped for an hour or two. After I woke up, it was as if I was living another full day, but without the lack of energy I suffer from in a morning.

I only take naps when I'm very tired and can't sit for long without falling asleep to begin with. I also nap alot when I'm depressed I notice, which probably is just a symptom of depression to begin with. But I don't take them very often at all.

I can't sleep during the day, nor can I sleep in. Nor do I have too.

Naps, along with cheesey garlic bread are the best thing evaaaar.

As a student The Afternoon Nap is the best thing since sliced bread (how did students eat back when they had to slice their own bread?), and is often required due to late nights and early lectures. Shame I can't yet master the between lectures nap.

I find naps to be a feeble form of escapism that rob me of my time to live.

I always thought of naps as a more American thing, not that I mean anything by that, just that the only time I'd heard of it was watching US tv shows we got over here now and then, otherwise I've never had one.

I guess it doesn't make sense to me, I only sleep to get up the next morning, thinking of sleeping at any any other time seems like a waste. Not of course, that I haven't had times when I'm literally stuck for something to do.

Naps hurt me. When I wake up from one, I'm way more confused than ever, and feel really weak. Last time I had a nap, I passed out five minutes after waking up. It sucked.

I hate that, but since I usually go to bed around 1:00 or 2:00 AM a nap like that sets me back to about 5:00 AM. and I wake up at 6:30 at the the VERY latest. I try to get up earlier if I can.

And I usually see naps as a waste, I hate taking them. I always feel like shit afterwards like "I just wasted 2 hours? =(" So they really only occur when I'm not thinking and go to lie on the couch to watch some TV and then end up falling asleep.

I'll occasionally put my head down if I have absolutely nothing to do in study hall, but I can't actually sleep in a desk. I always get to a stage that's incredibly close to the sleeping zone where I either A. randomly shake and wake up or B. make a small moan type noise that forces me to pick up my head to make sure no one heard it.

I find naps with me vary loads, sometimes they feel amazing and other times they make me feel completely disorientated and sick.

My regular sleep is about 4 hours a day, and I take lots of little naps when I can. Usually around 10-20 minutes.
