Archemetis:
Didn't mean to double post but I thought some people would get a laugh out of these.
I do these on Tumblr:

I'd upload the other ones I did, but I've only decided on a template today, so they're a bit too large for the site...

More here: http://NostalgiaBomb.tumblr.com

Those are pretty awesome, especially the first one given Middle School was porkemanz central for me.

Got up to Issue 04, made a fancy cover for it and everything. I guess it'd make a good stand alone pic?

Might as well drop a few more drawings while I'm here.

Just a little something a drew over two evenings. A lot of it didn't come out how I wanted but I'm pretty happy considering its just some card and a sharpie.

I love it! I shall cherish it forever, and call it Gregor Humperdink VII. Truly, you have earned that Red Star.

Hey guys, heres my favourite character i made, a mate drew up the initial concept and i created it in 3D with Maya, Photoshop and ZBrush.

She is called, Ryzamortis

Final Render

ZBrush shots

I've done loads more on my blog, haven't updated it for a long while but its got everything i've done over the last 2 years, including more actual drawings.

Also a concept my mate worked on for AlieNation, the game my company is working on!. Posting on his behalf.

Professor Vogel, the character you play as.

Action Shot

One of my best pics I think, I figured I'd toss it out there. I really do feel invisible whenever I show my art or well my comic as no one seems to say anything but, eh here's Neige from the comic flexing her guns.

Tried drawing a guy riding on a horse.

It sort of looks like my scanner might be squeezing my drawings a bit :/

This thread could use another bump, and it just so happens I took up drawing something again for the first time in years last week.

EDIT: ok the bump wasn't really needed, but Jonluw's comment somehow didn't show before I posted...

Some examples of my computer work and messing around with Photoshop;

While there seems to be mainly drawings here, in the OP it said literary works were welcome too, so I thought I'd share with you good people a reformatted e-book produced from a story me and about seven other Escapists wrote in this site's very own roleplaying forum, Prey, approximately 120000 words long in length.

Prey: PDF edition
Prey: MOBI edition

Since there were many contributors, the writing quality and style varies through-out and being an RP, there's no one protagonist, a fair warning to any potential readers. All writers included can be found credited at the beginning of the tale.

JoJo:
*snip*

When was this written?

Also, it reminds me of really old RPs like Queen of Hearts and the Escapist elections. I wonder if those threads are still around..

Between October 2010 and June 2012, it finished just four days ago (thread can be found here) although the RP's founder SamuelT was already an experienced role-player when he started it so maybe that's why it reminds you of the old stuff.

A little something different.

Chibiterasu, he's made out of pipe cleaners.

This is a poster I created for a college application a few months ago. We had to create a poster promoting a social, political, or economic cause. I obviously chose deforestation as my issue.

image

This one is a video I made for my economics class a few weeks ago for my final. We needed to create ads for a company of our choice. I chose adidas and this was what I came up with for the ad.

This didn't scan too well, but hey- you get the idea.

Captcha: 'toe-curling' -well gee, thanks for the appraisal!

I made a drawing while I was bored in my Drivers' Education class. It's pretty big, so I spoilered it.

Just felt like showing my hand turkey. No one ever said all art has to be good, right? :D

This is a fan art piece I did for Yahtzee's POACHER. I did have another thread for it on the Gaming Discussion (I was hoping it could serve to discuss what a POACHER 2 would be like), but it's locked now (for lack of discussion value, I'm sad to say). I worked quite a bit on this piece, and I'm really proud of it (even though its done mainly with pens and markers, which are primitive tools in comparison to modern digital artist's tools). The inspiration for the composition is CASTLEVANIA II: SIMON'S QUEST (it being the first CASTLEVANIA game to have METROID gameplay elements before SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT was released).

I hope the art piece is to your liking.

The thread could use a bump, so I figured I'd show off some recent work. Started it last month; spent a good couple of days on it.
My friends insist I'm a talented artist, but this is really one of the only pieces I'm proud of.

It's oil pastel. Haven't looked through the whole thread, but there doesn't seem to be much use of it around here.

For intense, gritty details: http://imageshack.us/f/818/presentationj.jpg/

I'm currently working on creating a horror event for the tabletop campaign.
So I'm drawing environments and concepts for immersion's sake.

Gotta keep this thread going!!

Some photography from me this time. All shot at the Flying Legends airshow, Duxford, last weekend. Quite a lot of work went into these!

I haven't quite figured out the legs on that last one, but I wasn't in possession of an eraser when I made these two drawings, so I couldn't be bothered to try to correct it.
And legs are one of my weak spots, so it was like "maaaan, I'll just ruin that if I try to correct it. Let it be"

Aaaaand, as usual my scanner automatically crops my drawings so that any attempt at image composition is ruined.
Very well.
It appears a hair snuck into the scanner as well.

Well, OK.

Hey guess what, even though I've been here for a year and a half, I still can't get a goddamn picture into thread. Anyone know how to do that?

I know a lot is made up of Wacom sketches, but I still do decent pencils. Also, this is adorable!

Really like this Mt Eden cover, had to try and have a go at recreating it. Apologies for the shit photo quality, never got it scanned.

I just recently got a tablet.

I'm still new at this thing, and I have a lot to improve on, but I think I'm doing well.

This one's actually quite a bit older than the piece in my previous post, but I figured it was worth sharing as well. It's just Katniss.

In all its graphite glory: http://imageshack.us/f/72/iphonebackup415.jpg/

Not sure what I have or haven't posted of late...
Ah well. Here's a recent piece I did based on Naomi Novik's series of books under the Temeraire title:

This piece of artwork is my crown jewel. It took me so long to create and perfect and even though I've only used it once I'm proud of it!

Very nice, lots of detail on the ships and the sky looks fantastic, it really draws more focus to the dragon and such (which is also really well done).

I just tried posting this but because a transformer just exploded (well it sounded like it exploded anyway) I'm guessing it didn't. Unless I posted this on the wrong thread then I'm going to look really stupid.

Some Samus Aran fanart, I thought it was neat.

Thanks, Snotnarok. I appreciate the kind words.

Here's another piece I did for the WotC D&D Art Test for 4th edition. You can check out the submission guidelines here. I have previously submitted work to the art test for Test #3: Culture. This time I've submitted a piece for Test #1: Creatures. The idea is, in short, to create a Shaman or Cook based on the two examples of the average grunts pictured in the test brief. I went with shaman, since I hadn't really done a whole lot of work with fun spell effects going on, so here he is, complete with disturbing eyelid-stretching piercings.

Holy shit this has been going for almost 3 years.

It's that thread title - it's just so damn eyecatching.

My amazing paint skills. I'm sorry. I'm sooo bad at art lulz

I think I have an unfinished painting somewhere though in storage from when I was decent. I'll post it later if I can find it.
