I totally would, but I blow hardcore at coloring. Besides, I like the way my pencil shading looks. It'd look a lot better if it were scanned, though. Shame I don't have a scanner up here in college. Ah well, I'm still happy with it. I've been drawing a lot recently. Next time I'm near a scanner, I'll dump a whole ton of pictures. |

When you finally get a scanner, you can try coloring it by doing a vector drawing of it in Illustrator or something. It's worked for me before, and with some practice it'll look great. |

And the added advantage of Ctrl-Z. |

This one is amazing. It also makes me curse what the Robot-Devil has coined my "stupid fingers." |

1. Hide big images in a [Spoiler] tag (optionally you can put Spoiler=<text> if you dont just want "Spoiler, click to view"), post images with an {img] tag. Dont forget to close off the tags though. |

Shock and awe, Labyrinth. This is really good IMO. It's really easy to visualize and it projects itself really well. Startlingly similar to some of my own writing (though I'd never say mine was anywhere near as good). Really liked how you used language that was fitting to the content, and I enjoyed the line about how it was a sort of pledge. Might post some of my writing, or drawing (pray that I don't) some time. |

Press Junketeer Posts: 391 Joined: 29 Jul 2008 | If ever performed for an audience i intend for it to be done in the same style as the song "everybody's free (to wear sunscreen)" by Baz Luhrman Love ... It's a funny thing When you find it, you like it You laugh, you smile, you have fun And it's Nice So you continue to lick the lid of Love And you feel Funny The Highest joy becomes time with them And it's the pleasing them that gives you the real high You think not only of yourself and truely about them And you go back to wondering, vaguely, whether Or, whether it's all good because it balances But you don't think about it really In Truth, so long as you Are making them happy Unless... Unless You don't make the choices you Know are best Then... Then you Will Not Get Better As a Couple Never say "S/he's done this, so i'm doing that" Don't Be Too Serious it will only make everyone feel pressured Do tell her she's beautiful whenever you think it Don't think of things to say, be calm and chat like you always do Do tell him he's the only one, he needs to hear it Don't make personal jokes you don't Know they can take Do Enjoy every second you have with them There is ALWAYS Time for Love But you should remember... |

It's not bad. You've certainly put together an interesting world there. My only suggestion would be that it seems almost too technical and analyctical. I don't think a person in this situation, a person who is speaking in the present tense, would be that objective. It does have its good points, where the character shows through. I like the observation, "I also feel like I've eaten a bowl of cotton." Other than that, well done. Just up the characterization more, unless your plan is to do that in the rest of the story. |

It was my plan, and thanks for the response. I thought Iron Ninja was going to come along and troll the shit out of me out of spite. |

You really should colour and tone that. It'd look great.
