Dammit, I knew someone was following me. Still, at least they didn't catch me on camera. The next time they come poking around I'll be ready for them...

I wonder why the myth of Bigfoot or the Abominable Snowman started independantly all over the world.

Let's just say there's a reason why "Saskwach" is an anagram of "Shotgun to the face".

I wonder why the myth of Bigfoot or the Abominable Snowman started independantly all over the world.

Same reason Dragons did, I guess...

Hail Xenu! :P

I went onto the site which was supposed to have pictures of the footprints in question. But it was all in Japanese.

Anyway if it's a footprint in the snow It's almost definately just a human footprint that just melted to become larger, that's what Sir Edmund Hillary found when he went to investigate Yeti's way back in *checks wikipedia* 1960. Either that or it's a bear.

Sorry Saskwach, but you don't exist.

OMG, they found footbprints of which they don't know what animal it belongs too! Now I am truly convinced of the existence of the Yeti.

Okay I found a photo.

Not that impressive.

Is it me or does that just look like a human footprint?

people, it doesn't exist. seriously, let it go

jim_doki:

Sure, next you'll be telling everyone that ghosts and manticores don't exist either!

dude, Manticores are totally real. that's what pulls Santa's Sleigh right?

jim_doki:

First of all there is a very real possibility of these creatures existing. There are mounds of evidence, and the only reason most people don't accept this is because of the arrogance of western culture believing that it has discovered everything. Every argument against the creatures' exsistence can be logically broken down. And no the Patterson footage isn't fake; this can be determined by the height of the creature, analysis on site at a later date show the animal to be at least 7 feet tall, and analysis of the creature's footprint casts show that it weighed several hundred pounds. then there are the anatomical details of the creature that are plain to see, conical head, massive girth, breasts( indicating that the animal was female) and an odd walking gait. Then we have evidence for the creature on the whole such as tracks that indicate genetic diseases like cripplefoot. Also there is auditory recordings of howls and shrieks that do not match any known animals. to discount the possibility of these animals out of hand shows both arrogance and disregard to the spirit of science. also try catching an animal that may have a specific evolutionary trait that allows it to avoid humans. People assume that increases in sightings are linked to a cultural phenomena when it is much more likely that the increase in sightings is related to increase of population density. I do not argue that the animals are definitely real but to discount them out of hand is just arrogant and offensive. go to BFRO.net and read some goddamn articles people, open your minds to POSSIBILITY.

Oh noes, Sachwach, they found your prints! Dude, be more careful next time.

Hey, wait, if you're Australian, aren't you supposed to be a Yeti?

I thought it was Yowie.

**thinks back to SC paper** ...Hmm, I think you may be right...

EPIC SNIP

dude, I'm not closed to the possiblity (although my post would give you that idea, and I apologise, it was badly worded) im just skeptical. aside from a few sightings, which incidentally haven't been that conclusive, there's no real evidence. No droppings, no habitat, no patterns of sightings, nothing

Yes, hail me.

My lord, that fool Beowulf DW misspelled your name. Shall I kill him?

I still can't believe that was the first question to the English paper... I still can't believe it...

Anyway, I hope Sasquatches and Yetis are real just so that one day we might be able to live with them. That would be pretty neat.

Taxi Driver:
No, I do not feel that merciful today; I think you know what must be done.

That? On a mortal like him? You must feel somewhat displeased today.

Very well. *smile*

Having these creatures as real would be interesting, but I wouldn't care much.

Off-topic, we were doing the paper in class. The stupid question was the one about what features make the thing a website. A address bar is not a toolbar! /rage... still got a 41 (got my actual trials back, and I pretty damn well, compared to everyone else)...

PS: Hey, you're Year 12 now, aren't you? How ya holding up, champ?

stompy:

Technically I'm not. Someone forgot to pay a small fee so I'm still in year 11 until someone pays them off, probably tomorrow or the day after.

Although it isn't too hard... yet. It's kinda of like the calm before the storm. Eerily quiet.

I hate that... it usually means there's a test next period. Wait, no, the period before a test is usually "OH NOES, I HAVEN'T STUDIED ENOUGH!!!111oneoneone", with me contributing my share.

Another Yeti sight? Who will be the first to actually encounter this beast and then have humanity make a "Big game hunt" against it?

Kind of like that but it's one million tests instead of one and instead of everyone yelling "OH NOES, I HAVEN'T STUDIED ENOUGH!!!111oneoneone" it's "OH NOES, I HAVEN'T STUDIED ENOUGH AND I WILL FAIL AT LIFE!!!111oneoneone"

Years 12's great though. The teachers like you more. At least they say they do.

Who ever said I was mortal?

By the way, when you go to the bathroom tonight, try not to duck. It'll be a bit quicker.

Shit, it's already like that at my school... gee, can't wait for Year 12. /sarcasm
