Yup, the books get me; I like reading books like The Lord of The Rings (including the Silmarillion), the entire Dune-saga, 1984, Dracula, Brave New World.

...and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy & Discworld :P

Please don't nail me to a burning cross or anything for this, but I like having the freedom to say that I DON'T LIKE HALO 2 OR 3. I think Halo 3 is the most over-hyped, mediocre excuse for a shooter I've ever played.

actually, you'll be welcome around here, I think that the open halo fans around here can be counted on one hand

1) me
2) Shatnershaman
3) Ultrajoe
4) qubert4erer

so you see? your opinion is par for the cource around here

don't forget me¡¡-.-

You can add me to that list.

Adored Halo: Combat Evolved. Possibly best game I've played. Halo 2 campaign was a big disappointment. Halo 3 campaign was only ok.

Adore Halo 3 Multiplayer. Even though I'm not very good.

Yes, you can add me onto there as well, I love to play halo with my buddies, especially when we make the whiney little twelve yearold players cry. one stupid kid (on our team) was mooing in to the mike over and over and over, so we team killed him each time we saw him. True we could have muted him, but thats not as much fun.

Those are tolerable to a point, but I still prefer western RPG's, particularly anything by Bioware.

BIOWARE FTW

2003's "Hulk".

Don't get me wrong. I don't necessarily love it. I just prefer certain aspects of the film:

1) General Ross's pure hatred for Hulk, based solely on the fact of what Hulk is - a monster. And he was not involved with anything science. He was a guy who was in charged and threw all the military's hardware at Hulk.
2) I like to think of Hulk's appearance being similar to the old Jack Kirby depictions. Go look it up, and you'll see he looked like a giant baby. (This doesn't change my respect for one of the greatest artists of the comic book industry.)
3) Jennifer Connelly as Betty Ross. 'Nuff said.

Kingdom Hearts. I know it's awful (the dialogue and the 18 hundred MILLION cutscenes that occur whenever you walk across a freaking room), but I really love those games. Maybe it's the thought of bashing in skulls with a giant key and picking up little balls of munny. Yes, munny.

I love literature... I just reread The Inferno after studying the bible for a year and a half and appreciate it so much more now.

<curls into fetal position for imminent stone throwing>

*throws high five for love of Vista rather than throwing a stone* It took some getting used to, but I actually prefer Vista to XP now that I've gotten into modding.

Sign me up for a ticket on that cool train. I actually really like vista.

I would, sadly, have to say good books like 1984 or Animal Farm (yes I like George Orwell) while everyone else reads things like Twilight. I have actually been told "Who cares about those old books" when said person is holding Twilight in their hand.

I love Orwell's work, but what's this twilight you speak of?

Seriously everyone talks all about how great twilight is can someone shed some light on this?

Twilight is a romance novel series with Vampires that can walk in the sun and sparkel and fail to follow any rules.

It's written for angsty emo teens who write poetry

But of course, and there was no Latin and Normandic French influence when William the Conqueror -well, conquered Britain, noooo, nor were there Gaelics and Welsh... which are also constitutive elements of English... even remotely...
Oh, by the way, shenanigans is either of Irish Gaelic or German origin...

I can speak Scots Gaelic... Shen means old... can't figure out the rest...

I loved Haze.

It really just seemed to be a comedic view on everything that Halo and Gears of War were. Powerful up space marines, Steriod use, horrific dialogue, the list goes on. If you don't take the game so seriously, It's quite enjoyable.

It is. All you need to know is that it's about as predictable as it could possibly get, unbelievably clichéd, and adored by pre-teen and teen girls who have yet to find a decent boyfriend, while emphasizing the idea that a woman's role is to give up everything for one guy, no matter what.

I want to spit acid every time I see someone reading the book/ wearing a Twilight shirt/ talking about the movie.

apperantly everyone hates the fourth addition to Indiana Jones.

i enjoyed it. it wasnt terrable. not nearly as great as the other three, but still good.

i mean, it was like compairing ramen noodles to a tenderloin steak. both are good, but you'd rather have a tenderloin.

unless your a vegitarian, then your opinion doesnt matter here.

No More Heroes. I loved that game. It was just such a unique and/or kickass experience. And to this day I curse Suda51 for inventing the legendary NMH "Bitter" mode.

Many people liked the game (including me)

I seem to be one of the few who likes turn-based strategy games. They are getting to be few and far between these days. I like having the time to make strategic decisions without having to worry about my enemy rapidly massing a huge army to come and crush me while I'm still trying to get enough resources to build up a basic army. I like real time strategy too, but prefer turn-based when I can find it.

turnbased are good as well. But I rarely see any and they are not on my toplist of things i like that no-one else does. My friends, or some of them anyway, likes turnbased as well. Masters of Orion 2 for instance.
