I think that it's not so much hate for this as it is begrudging indifference on the part of everyone else.
But I like Crabs (as in the little crustacean things with pincers), Crabs are fucking awesome.

Bad Religion.

For some reason, nobody else I know like them. I haven't subjected my parents to them yet, but I'm sure they would at least listen to it.

I only have one of their albums (Suffer) but they are indeed pure awesome.

Lvl 64 Klutz:
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I know there are others who like it, but so many people just hate it that I sometimes feel like I'm the only one.

I don't know of anyone that hates it. Several people belittle it for 'being a Gamecube port' but those are people that have never played it and thus don't understand what the 'remote waggle' adds to the experience.

As for things no-one else seems to like... country music. Specifically Gram Parsons (and by extension Emmylou Harris) and Townes Van Zandt... people don't seem to get that not all country music is corny.

I'm actually not afraid to admit that I... get this...

Yeah, I know... shocking Right?

Nah, not much. I like all six Star Wars movies, after all.

The fact that I'm from Scotland.
Really, a lot of people from outside it attack Scottish people for no reason, especially on the internet. Some English person kept calling me a jock on Xbox Live and it really pissed me off. And most US-Scottish abuse is just US-Everyone Else abuse, anyway.

Kingdom Hearts. I know it's awful (the dialogue and the 18 hundred MILLION cutscenes that occur whenever you walk across a freaking room), but I really love those games. Maybe it's the thought of bashing in skulls with a giant key and picking up little balls of munny. Yes, munny.

I am with you there man, I loved the Kingdom hearts games for some reason. They just appealed to my inner disney loving finalfantasy playing kid.

You fucking joking? Kingdom Hearts and everything about it is AWESOME, and everyone I know agrees with me.

And everyone who disagreees is wrong and will be beaten to death by my giant key.

Now, something I like that everyone else hates. I'm going to say angsty androgynous JRPG protagonists with giant swords and amnesia. Yes, you heard me right.

But of course, and there was no Latin and Normandic French influence when William the Conqueror -well, conquered Britain, noooo, nor were there Gaelics and Welsh... which are also constitutive elements of English... even remotely...
Oh, by the way, shenanigans is either of Irish Gaelic or German origin...

I can speak Scots Gaelic... Shen means old... can't figure out the rest...

According to Wiktionary : From Irish sionnachuighim ("'I play the fox'"). But I couldn't be really assertive on this, I have no idea, I thought it came from an Indian dialect in America...

Opposite of the ? i REALLY dont get bioshock. It was ok, the game is broken by vita chambers.(i get it switch them off - hey um... i shouldnt have to). The story is manageable... not bad but slightly above avg. It in no fucking way is "epic" or "gripping" to me. to each his own but for me i'm really tired of hearing how great it is...cuz its not.

The music of Frank Stallone and Vince DiCola: Yeah, it was that 80's electro music, but damn, it was awesome!

You can find it in:

1) Rocky (Frank actually plays a cameo role in Rocky and Rocky II- Vince DiCola wrote most of the "computerized" themes in Rocky IV- say what you want about the movie, the music was badass).

2) Stayin' Alive (sequel to Saturday Night Fever)

3) Over the Top (yep, another one with Sly)

4) The Tranformers Cartoon Movie (most of the music unaffiliated with particular bands is accorded to Vince DiCola)

5) Other cartoons of the day. I think they are also associated with the G.I. Joe movie as well.

I know many of you like metal, but none of my friends like metal, except like, 1. And most of his songs are pop..pop and metal...anyways, I kinda like heavy metal, but again all of my friends all start to sing along when some crappy song which makes my ears bleed plays on the radio in the gym and I'm like o.0

Horatio Caine. He could take out Chuck Norris with just a pair of sunglasses.

Go Justice Shades!

It is possibly the best name ever. Horatio Caine...

Brilliant.
Even if he does resemble a gingerbread man.

Hrm... Things I like that everyone hates, huh?

Sonic Team
Dear God if they don't make a select few fantastic games once in a while. Really, they get more flack than they deserve sometimes. Granted, you're plucking gems, but when the gems are so good. It's like swimming through the sea of filth that is most Squeenix games, but tripping over stuff like Chrono Trigger and FF V and VI.

Small Cars
My friends give me hell all the time for my Civic. I love the little thing, two doors made of awesome. They hate it though, and give me so much flack for it. I dunno why, but it works for me. Might be the lightness, might be the traction and low center-of-gravity. I dunno.

In-Line Skating
Maybe I missed the boat here, but it seems like all anyone does these days that involves wheels and transportation is either bike or automobile, with a Hot Topic encrusted subsection of skateboards. What happened to the days of skates, roller rings, and doing those things for the fun instead of the transport.

Writing
As an English major, this one boggles me. I get constant complaints about three page essays when I churn those out in my spare time (titled "game reviews" or "rp posts"). Ah well, to each their own, I guess.

For the record. I think Scotland is awesome.
But I'm not British or American, so that might have something to do with it.

Another Vista fan here. There's nothing wrong with it, really.

(Big Image Here)
No, nothing...

To be honest I've had Vista since it came out and I've never seen that error screen or any error screen aside from an Internet Explorer freeze every month or so. Not even one blue screen. (if Vista has one?)

I love David Foster Wallace and one of his novels "Infinite Jest" in particular.

If there is anyone else who has read this book on here, I will personally come to your house and shake your hand.

I've tried to get everybody I know to read it, and none of my idiotic friends can get past the "it's a big book" thing.

Morons....

I would, sadly, have to say good books like 1984 or Animal Farm (yes I like George Orwell) while everyone else reads things like Twilight. I have actually been told "Who cares about those old books" when said person is holding Twilight in their hand.

Wait there's people who didn't like Animal Farm I mean..communist pigs and all thats a shame.

Jar Jar Binks.

Don't ask me why, but I actually liked the guy, and absolutely no one I've talked to shares that opinion.

Although I have not sufficiently surveyed "everyone else," I'd have to say that they all probably hated Reign of Fire.

That movie had dragons.

Well, against popular believe I really enjoyed all of the new Star Wars movies and I never understood why everyone hated Jar Jar.

I also really like J-RPG's.

I however dislike the i-pod. Most people I know don't use it as an mp3 player anymore, but it seems to be a fashion statement nowadays.

Animal farm was one of my favorite books growing up.

I dunno, I'm really into manga, but alot of people i know don't share my obsession. Why is it people think that it's childish just because there's pictures, never read Battle Royal? hardly a kids tale.

I love a good book! George Orwell is a great writer. For some reason people hate classics on principle because they think they are too descriptive however I believe thats because they think they are all flowery courtship novels. What about Dracula I love that book.
