Tony Hawks Underground 2.

Sure the story was shit, I however still enjoyed playing the game.
I even found my own little glitch that enabled me to walk under the Boston level :D

I like governments and big corporations. While they seem to be the first target for criticism from virtually everyone, I reckon the world would fall to shit without them.

Drakengard. Tedious grinding, but those weapon designs are sooo sweet.

I like Drakengard a lot too, but it's true the grinding swiftly kills the fun :/

I like reading about horror games/films on wikipedia and looking for walkthroughs of them on YouTube. I honestly can't see what more you get out of actually playing the game, apart from sweaty hands and an ever-growing patch of liquidy darkness around your crotch. :P

Freddy Got Fingered. For some reason, one bunch of people love it, another bunch of people completely hate it.

I would, sadly, have to say good books like 1984 or Animal Farm (yes I like George Orwell) while everyone else reads things like Twilight. I have actually been told "Who cares about those old books" when said person is holding Twilight in their hand.

I just finished reading both of those, and I too loved them. Extremely depressing, but amazing.

Chasing Amy, and the Hampsterdance song. It's just so damn chirpy I just gotta grin whenever I hear it.

I like The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan, but all of my family/friends hate it. I know you Escapists appreciate my musical taste, but it seems everybody else I know thinks of it as old crap compared to the repetitive, whining shite that is Metro Station.

Although I have not sufficiently surveyed "everyone else," I'd have to say that they all probably hated Reign of Fire.

That movie had dragons.

I didn't hate that movie.

The band 'Dark Moor', Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and the Nintendo64 Castlevania games, the TV show Iron Chef..

.. I'm sure there's more, but that is it for now.

I loved Animal Farm, need to grab a copy. It is one of the few books that wasn't ruined by me having to study it at school.

I am totally in love with 80's music to the point where if i hear an 80's song, i seriously break out into dance, regardless of location. maybe my friends hate it because it embarrasses them, but I don't care. I can't help it if 80's music makes me so happy that I break out into song and dance.

I have a major soft spot for 80s music too. I get some weird responses when I tell people that, after telling them what metal I listen to. >.>

I liked the Beast Wars series of Transformers at least as much as the original.

Also I enjoyed a lot of the books that we were forced to read for school - of mice and men, how to kill a mocking bird, etc. The only exception was Brave New World which I hated with a passion.

Yup, the books get me; I like reading books like The Lord of The Rings (including the Silmarillion), the entire Dune-saga, 1984, Dracula, Brave New World.

...and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy & Discworld :P

The ENTIRE Dune saga?! hats off to you friend.
I also enjoyed the matrix sequels, 3 more than 2, and I wish people would quit bitching about them. also enjoyed halo 3-not the multiplayer! Oh and Ska, I know only one other person that likes Ska.

Man, I like to listen to that song while I play WoW. It makes everything I do in that game seem so important.

I like Digimon. Most people who do like Anime aren't fond of the kid shows, but I have a soft spot for Digimon, Dragon Drive, and the pre-movie seasons of Pokemon.

the first digimon rocked....all the digimon rocked...is there another season?

bread and gravy.

thats awesome!

another thing that only i seem 2 like is BEING YOURSELF!!! not pretending 2 be cool and. gosh it makes me so mad when i see my friends doing that, they deny doing half the stuff the actually do just because the think its "not cool" WELL FUCK YOU!! not cool is when you pretend 2 be coo,l just be yourself god damn it. they make fun of me for not pretending 2 be some ignorant skateboarding loser that can barely keep himself outa trouble (that was stereotypical i know but its late so plz just roll with it)........actually i am done now..

I dont know what the people here at the escapist think of this song, but i like Banana Phone and it drives all of my friends up a wall when i play it. I also like vampire weekend, regina spektor, and the kooks. None of my friends like those artists but i really enjoy them.

...i also like the playstation 3 and do not fanboy protect it...however that doesn't sound very convincing when I say that I actually enjoy lair. I had quite a few hours of fun with Lair; I even like the controls. Having said this I completely understand if I get tarred and feathered.
