I know only two in real life, Kicker and DemonGuy792. How about you?

Wow, I find it amazing that this topic in particular should grab my attention when scrolling down to find an interesting one, only to find AFTER I open it, that one of the few people I know personally started it! ^.^

I have some friends who come for De Rez and Zero Punctuation and I think one might lurk around the Forums but I don't think he actually has an account.

Hey Joe and I are tight. The tightness that only two meetings can create: we've already had BFF tats inscribed on our shoulders, and we talk all night until the wee hours in the morning.

I know many escapists over MSN, on a named basis. None live close enough for me to meet (Well, one, but is it really worth the drive and creepy awkwardness? 'Hey, i'm from the internet!' i would say, 'Get lost, creep' they would reply.)

Me and PurpleRain have a plan to meet in sydney and play Warhammer. Well, i say play, what i really mean is watch my Tyranids eat anything he can conjure. It shall be fun, and un-creepy.

Haha, you underestermate the sinister weaponry of the Dark Eldar. Your 'nids will serve as my pets as I probe ever deeper into the 'Hive Mind'. What little use of a soul you have will be feasted upon as our goblets will be filled with your blood... unless it's acid. And unless you kill me first. /slef doubt and hatred.

Most certainly, getting together some sydney-ish escapists for a Nid-appreciation day might be fun.

I met some of the staff that work for the magazine a few times but I doubt they'd remember me. Otherwise, unless there are some South Carolinians around here I don't know about, I think I'm it for a wide radius.

I'm a South Carolinian. *holds aloft a bowl of shrimp 'n grits*

Badass! By the power of Yellow Mustard BBQ and Spurrier, I salute thee!

I just always assume everyone here is British.

British? What gives you that impression?
I thought their were more Aussies here? (Mainly because we rock)

I'm not, Louisiana local. No one lives around here, though.

I'm from Georgia.

And I'm from Texas. Only bad part about that is it's fuckin' hot down here in the summer and everyone I meet on Xbox Live assumes I own a ranch and that I live in an "Old West" kind of place. But yeah, I don't know anyone here in real life. Mainly because all of my friends refuse to go on internet forums because they say it's too nerdy.

Yes Hey Joe: that was our little secret. Words cannot explain how angry I am right now.

Some of the coolest fluff, if you forget that they are the Ultimate Bad Which Will Win In The End. I don't know if a new codex is out, but even if it is, I recommend the first Necron codex for the awesome fluff.

Hell yeah!

But you should know beforehand, I have an extremely contagious disease.

And I'm really a 73 year old widow.

I'm with Ultrajoe on his remark about meeting people who I know solely from online endeavours.
It's just creepy.
Unless it was someone truly awesome like... Oh I don't know... Jim_Doki.

*Ahem*

Every race has a 'Will Win In The End' clause. Even Humanity has what's-his- name... The chaos dark angels chap with a sword to revive the emperor.

And Tyranids have the best, though. Fact.

Necrons are fun, and they are such a weird match-up for Nids, because they are two relentless-advance armies but play so very, very differently.

Any suggested dates for this escapist crew catchup?

My cousin just had a baby too!

But it was in Christchurch.

Don't be offended when I say that no matter how awesome you are, meeting you in real life would just be weird.

And I really am a 73 year old Widow with an extremely contagious disease.

Unless of course if you're actually Jim Doki in disguise...

That is Awesome Totally Doctor Who.
You'd best keep an eye out for a 73 year old widow with a heavily contagious disease then.
I could appear at any moment.
